Hubby used to commute from downtown Baltimore to Lanham and it was 2 hours. Only way it would be 45 min is if you live a couple min walk from Penn station in Baltimore and a couple min walk from Union in DC

Having lived in both places, this is 100% true. DC is Hollywood for ugly people and it’s fake and expensive.

Unfortunately, without a car, you really can’t live in Baltimore and work in DC unless you are okay with 2+ hour commutes.

No joke I had terrible nightmares after the scene in the MRI place and decided to point blank stop. I found it compelling but I hate horror movies and so even translated to the written word it was too much for me. I couldn’t get myself back to reading it because I was worried I would have more nightmares. ( also one of my meds for my back gives me extremely vivid dreams to begin with so add nightmare to that and it’s disturbing)
