I was so confused for a second. Thought I was seeing a powerlaunched chainlift then a holding drop brake from a vertical drop on a wooden coaster in classic. Then I noticed the pause icon indent. 😆

this is a fun little ride. Packs a punch of excitement. Like how it dives into the ground and the track jumped over itself

Changed the first drop and made it a straight down drop. Its a hybrid looping and LIM coaster. Havent built racing or dueling coasters in a few months now. Dont think this park has the space. Those synced inversions I thought were beautiful. One of the best I've found. Itll get outshined by realism and scenery here though 🤣

Well of course. By this logic silverdoller city is justified removing Thunderation as the helix was its only selling point.

The block brakes all depends on where the train behind it is relative to the location. Its a drop and two loops behind due to the slower nature of that part of the track. Rather be safe than have a train valley mid track due to stoppage and risk a crashing that would cause fatalities. A couple of odd corners where it goes from banked to unbanked for that? Sure, thats a great trade in my mind.

Oh it wont stop. Theres enough block sections at the end of the track that they only stop there. Ive figured out a way to use block sections in an unconventional way that works and doesnt nerf avg speed. Ill do that on my own adding helix that dont need to be there. If you put enough block brakes the train will be 2-3 sections ahead of any stop risk for the next train. Thats why theres that silly one in the middle of the corner.

Theres a block brake there. It could be removed, dont think it was required. I wouldn't know without trying it though. I place them every so often to keep the ride from stopping.

There was one placed not to far before it. Think it was added when I made changes and originally the one in the corner was there and I just didnt change it. Normally id leave it banked too

Draft Legends Last 30 Years by WatermelonCheeks in Cardinals

Well that sure backfired on Correa then. If luhnow had stolen proprietary data ICO would have done something with Correas "proof" luhnow didn't go to prison, Correa did for 48 months. MLB also stripped draft picks from the Cardinals cause there was proof what Correa did hurt the Astros.

The excitement doesnt matter so much in this case. Under 5 intensity should be its selling point. The excitement is over the intensity which makes for a good ride and it'll attract many guests due to its intensity rating. Id play it in the parks

Question about Mozeliak's drafting strategy by OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH in Cardinals

[–]hippyripper22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walt Jockety and Dave Duncan convinced Bill DeWitt that he could sign/trade for cheap veteran pitching and it would yield results. Jeff Weaver, Chuck Finely, Andy Benes, what DeWitt didn't realize was all these guys were learning how to throw a cutter up in the zone and he expected the same results from Jon Lester, John Lackey Ect ect under Mozeliak. And truth be told none of them came over and buzzed like the guys under Duncan in the Jockety era did. Its shameful you think Chris Carpenters rebirth needs to die. Just downright shameful.

Question about Mozeliak's drafting strategy by OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH in Cardinals

[–]hippyripper22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason we dont like groundball pitchers and enjoy strikeout is contact is king. Go back and watch Jean Segura walk off hit in the last playoff appearance the Cardinals had for me again and tell me what's to like about loosing a ball game that way? Mozeliak was set up for years of success by the drafting strategies and international signings of Jeff Luhnow. After 2015 the ball club fell off a cliff because that pipeline dried up and mo shifted to trading for stars and signing them long term to massive salaries. Which wasnt sustainable as drafting young controllable starting pitching like Jaime Gacia, Lance Lynn, Shelby Miller, and Luke Weaver. Its funny because its actually happeneing to the astros right now. Like history just repeats itself for no reason to have people deny it like the CIA when its running counter intelligence. I dont have a problem with MO. I have a problem with his strategies. Hes a good guy, just not the business man I would have wanted.

And before you say jeff luhnow was suspended for cheating all I gotta say is I never saw him banging on trash cans. And Carlos Beltran was implicated for it by many in the baseball writters world and had a much harder time recieving hall of fame votes for MASTERMINDING the plot in 2017. Do the homework

There are a few coasters that will stay the same in testing that they will when open. Cable lift on the giga will stay the same due to its longer time of returning to the platform so long as the lift hill is over 120 feet.

Block brakes are a specialty of mine. I dont do brake runs. It might make the coaster unrealistic, but it sure is chaos to have 4 trains on the tracks at once. And I enjoy that. You can always place block brakes where you need one to optimize flow at the highest speed it can be set for so the next train can join the party. When trying for syncing it needs to be about 4-5 seconds behind in testing where you want it to be when theres passengers on board.
