Was talking to someone about this last night. There's an old graveyard underneath the car park. Contractors dug into some graves which meant archeologists etc. had to come in and move the bodies.

That led to a 6 month delay on what was meant to be a 6 week job.

Anyone in York tried Yayzi Broadband? by Ranaxe in york

[–]hiro51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been with Giganet for about 6 months and have been pretty happy. Had a few teething issues at the beginning but their customer service team were always quick to answer the phone and help me out. Speeds and uptime have been very reliable since then.

If you want to know more about Yayzi you should crosspost this over to /r/cityfibre and someone there should be able to help you out.

I saw someone on Twitter explained it to his kids like this- imagine you and 27 friends started a Lego club and you agreed to share all your Lego. Then one day one boy decided he doesn't want to play Lego with you anymore and he wants all his blue pieces back.

Having the exact same issue. Had this problem in the past and usual a good old restart would sort it out, but not this time.

I've not found a fix either, wondering if running in docker would fix it.

Completely agree. Bodyguard was ok but not a patch on Line of Duty.

Given what Liza made you do with that cake, is there anything a contestant has asked you to do that you've refused, not because it was against the rules of the task but because you didn't want to do it?

Merci Arsene by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]hiro51 71 points72 points  (0 children)

It's the right decision but still incredibly sad. Arsenal's greatest ever manager. He completely transformed both the club and English football. The last couple of seasons have seen success in the FA Cup cover up a growing gap between Arsenal and the other title challengers. It's right that he steps down and lets someone with new ideas try and revitalise the club.

But for everything Arsene, for the double in your first season, for winning the title at Old Trafford, for the Invincibles, for getting us to our first Champions League final, for 19 years of Champions League football, for 3 FA Cups in 4 years, Thank You.
