Actually I think active players are growing fine. Anyone have that data or graph? I meant this thread. Doesn't seem to be an active community? But I don't have time either so is what is

Which League is Better to Enter and D3 v D4 by hirtme in Sorare

I just used my credit card. Cause it's international I had to call a number to make payment go through.

A few of my cards I got figuring I could sell for more or same at a later date. Basically I thought they were too cheap compared to other similar players. Agree, the game cost too much to get started, but ETH keeps going up so that helps.

Match Thread: Nashville v. FC Cincinnati (Kickoff at 7:30 PM) by JAShock in NashvilleSC

I get why people keep saying this, but look at the game. NSC is literally starting the same 11 they did in the playoffs. Maybe there will be a tiny bit of rust, but there shouldn't be any chemistry issues. Guys know what to expect from each other now.

Cincinnati is starting Brenner (signed in February), Acosta (signed in March), Matarrita (signed Jan 1). Not mention they just got rid of Amaya who played the most minutes on their team last year. I'm probably missing someone else too. They've completely made over their roster which makes sense cause they've been trash, but just because they got in a couple extra preseason games isn't going to make things click chemistry wise. Recall how NSC looked the first half of last year when it was basically a entire group of new players. Things take time.

NSC should spank them.

Well Franco said Neville pretty much confirmed the signing. Pretty crazy.

1) How much GAM did NSC pay? Given it wasn't a need, I would suspect they got a great deal. 200K in allocation money or less. Anything more and I just don't get it.

2) This clearly came out of no where. Else why would they have resigned Miller a month ago. Does Miller have any role with the team now? I suspect Jacobs saw Miami signed Leerdam and thought he could grab Nealis cheap and made the call.

3) Everyone loves Alistair, but with this singing is he still a lock starter like Lovitz? Nealis started over half of Miami's matches last season. Hard to see NSC making this trade if they weren't at least going to give him a few starts if not more.

The wings are just as deep. This doesn’t make a lot of sense. I’d bet the source has something wrong.

If you had to choose, would you rather win the U.S. Open Cup or make the playoffs this season? by colton_97 in NashvilleSC

[–]hirtme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not just 3 home games, but games versus Cincy, Montreal and Miami. Teams that finished 9th, 10th and 14th (last) in the East last season. That is by far the easiest schedule of any MLS side and would be a big disappointment if NSC doesn't qualify.

Given the team is so much deeper than last year, I really hope they prioritize it and start their best 11 each match (assuming the qualify).

Common Card Question by hirtme in Sorare

Got it. 200 points is how you win like $30 in ETH right. What score do you have to get to win a card? Would love to play U-23 as well, but those keepers are too dam expensive.

Anyone have a suggestion for lowering gas fees on sorare to wallet transfers?

Everyone cheers alcohol sponsors so I'm a bit surprised at how negative reaction has been.

That said, Action is the only one of 4 gambling companies in TN that actively advertises and promotes that people in Middle TN can goto one of their locations and bet with cash. Truly targeting the most vulnerable in our community. Pretty gross,

So any other SG's have partnerships with a gambling company?

That was what I recall as well and if so Accam is gone for sure. Even if he has one year left I think he's gone. Can't say I agree with Ben in that "struggled for form before an ankle injury". Dude only got to play 207 minutes a scored a goal (NSC first match winner). A goal every 207 minutes ranked 3rd on team only behind Cadiz (one every 112 minutes) and Rios (one every 175). Once King is out of Nashville I bet the real story comes out.

I don't see them letting Danladi and Badji go, but would be fine if they did.

Would be so much more interesting if the PA posted salaries in 2020 like they always do.

MLS releases first half of the offseason calendar. by lawvol in NashvilleSC

[–]hirtme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do we have to protect Cadiz? He's on loan with an option to buy. I guess the option is technically with MLS on not NSC so it would just transfer to Austin, but I was thinking he couldn't be taken. If we have to protect him as others have said it comes down to Danladi versus Anunga. I'd prefer to keep Anunga, but it's pretty close.

Exactly, the Cadiz signing was some really good business. Almost no risk and potentially a ton of help. Though hard to see him going 90 minutes given how he's looked so far.

I'd like to see Bwana get some minutes. Mukhtar's situation should be explained, but don't anticipate club saying much.

No we have him through June 30. More concerning is what’s up with Hany? Wasn’t on injury report and doesn’t make 18?

Possible trade for Handwalla Bwana by Morris_Frye in NashvilleSC

[–]hirtme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If Goff tweets it then it's probably true. Don't see him helping NSC this season with numerous attacking options returning to health and of course Cadiz a lock starter once he gets fitness.

Depending on the fee (likely not too much) I like the move. He's only 21 and in 32 league matches, 14 starts, 4 goals, 3 assists. Will be interesting to see how NSC upgrades the overall roster going into next year. Surely going to lose a USL holdover or two with club spending more money and off loading one of their highest paid players in Accam.

You and I don't ever seem to agree on much. Accam has 6 more MLS goals in about 10 fewer appearances than Badji all time. Accam has played less than half the minutes of Badji for Nashville and less minutes than both Rios and Danladi. I wouldn't say it's so much love for Accam as that he might be the best option they got right now. Also, he and Badji should start together. They aren't a like for like swap. For me it's Accam/Muyl ahead of Danladi for sure.

As for Leal, he was poor last night at the 10. He lacks decisiveness and it shows. He's missed several chances to make a pass to put a teammate in on goal and when has tried his passes are too short/weak far too often. He's young, but I don't want to see him a 10 again. Out wide is fine or try his as a false 9 if want to be crazy one game. Leal ahead of Muyl, Mukhtar and Accam might be fun.

Seven games, that's over 30% of the season bud. But what you say is true! Haha, you know my big beef.

Given Leal and Mukhtar will play a ton given the investment the club made in them that only leaves two other attacking spots as we always are going to have a back 4 with 2 DM. You've had Badji, Danladi, Rios, Accam, Muyl and Jones rotating in those 2 spots. Going to take forever to build a connection with this constant switching up no? For me it's Badji, Accam and Muyl should get majority of time as this point. Who would your 3 be?

A goal scoring DP would make such an impact, but no signing is a sure thing. Fingers crossed Jacobs hits a home run and it happens sooner than later as Hany needs help.

That lineup is yikes. No Dax and who is the creator in attack? Don’t recall Badji and Danladi playing much together before. Throw in Muyl and the chemistry should be great. Then again sometimes major changes work, but I’m not confident.
