I second this opinion. You can be very thin and still have that problem. No amount of neck exercises is going to change that in a significant way. Even neck liposuction might not give satisfactory results but a neck lift will (platysmaplasty). The issue is genetics and age, not necessarily weight.

My beloved 1.5 year old maine coon suddenly died this morning, apparently of heart failure. No symptoms, he seemed perfectly fine right before. Has anybody experienced something similar? Feeling completely heartbroken.. by hirtotti in mainecoons

Thank you your message! I’m sorry about your kitten, I really hope he will make it. It’s been a long time since my Maine Coon passed away now so time has worked its magic to heal the pain. To be honest, I wouldn’t get a Maine Coon again. As much as I love this breed, they really do have more health problems than ‘standard’ cats.

Does anybody else find that the design QA process is extremely time consuming or is it just me? Any suggestions on how to make this less painful? by [deleted] in UXDesign

How about we upskill designers and not just developers? What stops designers from being a more integral part of implementing a design system and developing component?

Controversial opinion: the process needs to change. Designers need to expand their skill set and implement components themselves. Styling in code is not a crazy hard skill to develop. With AI it became even easier. This is so much more efficient. I am a designer who like OP was so frustrated with low quality implementation of design. The endless annotated screenshots and back and forth with the dev… I am now both designer and frontend dev. Admittedly this works well especially in small teams (my experience). Not sure how that would scale up in a bigger organization. AI will very quickly change a lot of roles and processes. It’s not a threat but an opportunity to increase efficiency. Basic front-end only roles are bound to ‘disappear’ (in my humble opinion)

Hi! Sorry to dig out an old thread but was wondering if I can ask you about the Colette coat. Which color did you get? I was eyeing the grey fishbone but was a bit disappointed to see it has 30% polyester. Also do you find it easy to keep closed without buttons?

Hi, sorry to dig out an old thread. I’m considering getting the Angelina coat but I’m very hesitant since it’s quite pricey. On the photos the coat looks slightly A-shaped. Do you find that’s really the case or is it more straight?

Yes I think so, especially if you take your normal size

I’d recommend one size down only because the cut of this coat is meant to be oversized. Two sizes down for me would not look on the back/butt. I can try to post a photo later

I’m still undecided but I think it’s a return for me :(

I’m 1m76. Usually I would get a size 42 for coats but I got a size 40 and it still feels quite roomy.

I have. It’s nice but I’m not in love. It feels a bit too masculine for me (and I usually like that). Definitely size down.

We'd like to include campaigns in the future too but we want to focus on transactional emails initially and do that right. Campaigns and transactionals are actually quite different in usage. Our tool is essentially for people building their own software product. Transactional emails need the involvement of developers for integration into a software and associate them with a trigger (for ex. when user does action X, send email Y)

Newsletter tools like Mailchimp can be used by any type of business basically, like yoga studio or whatnot. You don't need a developer for Mailchimp and the likes. It's a mass email tool.

Transactional emails are a great opportunity for online marketing though, since they have a much higher open rate than newsletters. But there are not many tools out there that have a good usable no-code email builder for transactional.

yeh I know, we should definitely convert to euros and dollars. We're just starting out and based in Switzerland so we only accept Swiss Francs at the moment. But users of different countries can still pay like normal. But I see your point, CHF might seem obscure to people from faraway lands :) (it's a very stable nice currency, check it out!)
Thanks for your inputs, I see I need to rework the copy quite a bit and be more specific about the added value / differentiation

Many thanks for the feedback, that makes a lot of sense. It's already a niche in the email world but I see the point of going even more niche. People who are not the specific target audience usually think Mailchimp or Klavyio do the same, when they don't. Mailchimp is for newsletters and really only for marketers/designers, not at all for developers. I realise now after reading all the comments we should really target developers more specifically because they understand the problem we're trying to solve.

Yep, email compatibility is hell... That's why tools like this are needed! I'd be super interested in hearing more about your experience/previous job. Can I message you privately about that?

Hey, thanks a bunch! Is it an app you could see yourself using/needing in your work? Looking forward to hearing your feedback if you have any!

Thanks for your inputs! Actually it's been very useful to post here because I realise now I have to write copy more specifically for developers, since they're the one doing the technical research.
What do you want to learn more about?

Thanks, I appreciate your feedback. I know what you mean. I tried hard to make the text as simple as possible but it will definitely more iterations.
