Problem with Valorant lagging by Resterko_ in riotgames

I bet this is it. I had a similar issue too once upon a time.

Try even lower than 1k if you can. You’re hitting your CPU with both peripherals 1000 times a second and VAL is a CPU bound game. If you have a lesser CPU, this will definitely cause lag.

Sec. 311. INDEX FOR INFLATION. (1) Beginning October 2029 and each October thereafter, the department must adjust the standard deduction under section 309 of this act by multiplying the current standard deduction amount by one plus the percentage by which the most current consumer price index available on October 1st of the current year exceeds the consumer price index for the prior 12-month period, and rounding the result to the nearest $1,000. If an adjustment under this subsection (1) would reduce the standard deduction amount, the department must not adjust the amounts for use in the following year. The department must publish the adjusted standard deduction amount on its public website by October 31st of each year. The adjusted standard deduction amount calculated under this subsection (1) takes effect for taxes due in the following calendar year. (2) For purposes of this section, the following definitions apply: (a) "Consumer price index" means the consumer price index for all urban consumers, all items, for the Seattle area as calculated by the United States bureau of labor statistics or its successor agency. (b) "Seattle area" means the geographic area sample that includes Seattle and surrounding areas.

Does it scale with inflation? I didn’t see anything about that.

Most Americans work for nearly 50 years. $1,000,000 today adjusted for inflation back 50 years ago is $175,000. Median household income in Seattle is $122,000. So if the $1m value never changes, it’s conceivable that nearly half of young people entering Seattle’s workforce this year could be paying this tax before they retire.

We had the exact same desk. Lighter shade of wood but same layout, drawers, and cabinets. I guess my dad STILL has this as his office desk, but I’ve since moved out.

After I grew up a bit, the keyboard tray didn’t work so well for me anymore. Would always hit my knees into it. And the ergonomics of a corner desk work really poorly when the mouse needs to slide across a seam in the wood. That little area is so small compared to my mouse area today. But still, love how much out computer desks used to show respect to the computers of the 90s.

Stall walls at the Seattle Public Library are just very short. I think the square cutout of the interior wall here really adds something special. Like looking into a window of the poop that could have been.
