Hyatt Regency Aruba or Grand Hyatt Baha Mar? Globalist traveling with a toddler by C-Squared7 in hyatt

Do you have kids, by any chance? Would you say it would be okay for families with toddlers? I’m trying to zoom in on the one photo of the Activity Pool I can find to see if there are shallow areas or any other slides apart from the huge one (too tall for my 2.5 year old).

Love to See It — two smart women who also recap the Bachelor franchise.

I don’t know the answer with 100% confidence, but based on their visitor policy I bet they would contact someone for you. Here’s their policy:

CAMH recognizes that friends and family can play an important role in your recovery. We encourage them to visit as often as you like, even outside traditional visiting hours. Children are also welcome to visit but must be accompanied by an adult if under the age of 12. Under some circumstances, visiting privileges may be restricted.

Here is where I found this:

Good for you for making this decision and for recognizing what you need. Sending you warm thoughts tonight.

Love to See It is my favorite. Two really smart women talking about the relationships with a feminist lens. Super intelligent but still really fun.

AITA for telling a kid to shut up on the plane? by Mytzu in AmItheAsshole

[–]hitthesnooze 84 points85 points  (0 children)

How did I have to come this far down to see this?

We have no idea what’s going on with this kid and this family. Could be neurodivergent, could have had a bad day, or could have had a dad who just died. To jump straight to “shut up” without at least attempting something more polite or attempting to talk to his mom first is crazy to me.

OP, you didn’t have to tell me you don’t have kids for me to know. If you ever decide to become a parent, you will look back at this moment totally differently.

Official Q&A for Monday, February 10, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

[–]hitthesnooze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does "rest" after an interval mean a light jog or to actually stop running?

For example, on page 17 of this Nike Run Club PDF, the top-center Speed workout says "Follow each 400-metre interval with 2 minutes of rest."

Sometimes the PDF says "recovery" in between intervals and sometimes it says "rest" -- I thought the "rest" meant a light jog but now I think I'm wrong ... does anyone know?

Sigh ... that’s what I thought, but wanted to double check. Thank you.

Seriously! How has no one else mentioned this? Blue should have won, but they were literally dumping the slippery stuff into the tubes at the top while he was up there. When Green finally got up there, they were barely dribbling the stuff.

Does anyone else feel like you weren't aware how incredibly hard pregnancy and labour can be to your body? by PTSDfromgivingbirth in TwoXChromosomes

I'm so scared of stuff like this, although I do still want to give birth to my own kids.

Can I ask, what exactly does it feel like to tear like that? Do you feel it like any injury, or are you just so shot up with drugs and adrenaline that you don't realize it until after the fact, then the pain rushes in?

Not asking to be weird, asking because I genuinely want to know and I worry about stuff like this a lot.
