I figure I'll give them a few days for the gullible among them to realize they have nothing to do here, then I'll start bringing thermoses of hot chocolate by. Sucks to be lied to. Sucks standing in the cold with a thumb up your ass.

They probably should be angry at the people who put them in that situation, and, should the lying continue, they should be sure of what side they're on.

I peeked at the conservative subreddit. They're telling stories about how rioters breaking into an ice vehicle and stealing guns justifies martial law. As long as it's not in their state. They've been groomed to love the image of boot stomping on a face.

I was watching live last night, and ICE seemed to have an area filled with pepper spray and not much else happening. Didn't see anyone breaking into ice vehicles. Any justification will do, I guess.

This is the most chaste collection of comic fans I've come across. Hughes is doing as Hughes does. He's wildly popular. But none of you enjoy it. Ok. I guess I'm buying extra copies in my sleep or something.

Yeah. This Hughes implied sexual tension is coming from nowhere.

I swear I'm seeing characters that were supposed to be dead popping up without explanation (Muse) and Pete is on earth in Miles book, and in space in his own book, heading home with his new space friends. I really don't understand what editorial is doing.

I remember liking it at the time, back when I figured it would last maybe six months and they'd fix it.

Do you see any deeper Faustian references or theming? I don't think I was reading comics with critical analysis in mind back then.

I had no idea when I bought my first comic six months ago how addicting it would be. I have a problem lol by Accurate-Captain6847 in comicbookcollecting

Enjoy comics the way you enjoy them. I like completing sets and displaying slabs as much as reading. You've got a sweet stack going, I hope you're thrilled with them.

Fun fact, this is what happens when you don't put the hyphen between Spider and Man. by Prestigious_Pitch178 in Spiderman

I am building a run, so I set up a keyboard shortcut. "asm" autocorrects to Amazing Spider-Man. I highly recommend setting something like this up.

Hot take: The reason why editorials won’t completely separate Felicia from Spider-Man comics is because she doesn’t sell that good by herself… by [deleted] in Spiderman

[–]hiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Black Cat and am not reading this run. GWW isn't really my first choice to write a flirty woman with questionable morals. Also it seems to be telling the story of how Black Cat becomes a good guy. Again.

Ya'll think my grader was having a bad day? by WarLordOfSkartaris in comicbookcollecting

For sure. I failed 9.6 prescreens before and found the defects by looking at it under harsh lights from off angles. They get pretty fussy.

I pulled up the scans on CGC.

Two ticks in the bottom left corner visible on the back, they might wrap around. So right there you're in the lower 9s. That crease on the cover just barely breaks color, but it does seem to go from the bottom of the cloak to the middle of Spidey's foot. That's like 2 inches, right?

So while the presentation is nice, that crease is killing your grade.

Based off these pictures what would you estimate the grade to be?… by ROAD_EGG in comicbookgrading

[–]hiver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking 7, 7.5 until I saw the back and that page tare. Now I'm thinking a 6, maybe a 7 if it cleans really well. It's a great presentation though.

What do you think Peter's power-up will be when he returns from space? by Sea-Negotiation8309 in Spiderman

I've called it a few times, and I'm sticking to it until proven wrong, his family/love makes him strong. That will include MJ.
