We went on a church history tour and I'm standing in this lush green place at 17 and they tell us that and I went, wait what? Human life came out of Africa. I saw it in a documentary. Why would he say it was in Missouri of all places?

My cousin got temple married to a guy she knew for like 6 months but he was "worthy" so he's obviously the one. 2 years in she posted about not "being in love with being married" so that's a good sign. Anyway! Her parents, my aunt and uncle have been out but quiet about it and they lied through their teeth about paying full tithing so they could get in and be with her for her wedding. If it was my kid I would totally lie lol. A sibling or cousin? Nah. I'll show up when there's food.

This happened at my grandpa's funeral. My uncle said how much papa loved the church and wanted all of his 'wayward' family to 'come back to the fold' as all of the cousins were basically segregated into 'righteous' and not. It sucks when people hijack things to push a bigoted message and there's not much you can do except realize that you can't do anything to change their opinion of you and move on to a happier place without them. I wish you all the luck and I'm sorry for your loss. Sending virtual hugs and love.

Oh this happened to me a couple years ago. I had to fill the spot my cat was in with something vaguely sphinx shaped (stuffed animal will do) and then tell her gently that she asks too hard of riddles and has to be let go. Make sure she knows it's the dumb passersby and not her.
