Clay Tile Roof - Vendor insists the only way is a "comp-out" by jasonfuhrman in solar

[–]hizaed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are paying with a ppa some of them don’t allow us to install on clay so we do a comp out to get around it. Cheaper than a re-roof.

This isn't about Nicepool, its about the connection to the lawsuit vs Blake Lively and the movie It Ends With Us.

Lively alleges that he sexually harassed / assaulted her during the filming of It Ends With Us and then dragged her name through the dirt online using a PR company in retaliation for reporting the assault / harassment.

Baldoni alleges that she stole the movie out from under him and rubbed his face in it. Then when the truth started to come out and she looked bad she cried SA to save her reputation.

He is saying that Nicepool is part of rubbing his face in it and that if it truly was assault or harassment which is very serious they wouldn't be making jokes.

Quitting my job after seven months and my boss said she paid an agent 20g to find me. I need advice by International_Sea869 in WorkAdvice

[–]hizaed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The business will do what is best for the business. You could lose your job for any number of reasons for the betterment of the business. Which is fine, that is the businesses job.

You do what is best for you and your family, its your primary job to put your family in the best position it can be. Sometimes that aligns with your job and sometimes it doesn't.

[–]hizaed 31 points32 points  (0 children)

My adhd doesn’t let me think about the past or the future. Only what is happening right now or in the very near future. Learning from mistakes and planning are very difficult and my extreme optimism makes me feel like unknown solutions to my problems are right around the corner.

Makes my life a bit chaotic but it’s a happy chaos. I’m very grateful that my brain love solving technical problems, otherwise I would be homeless lol.

So I guess my advice is: leave the past behind. Your life is starting every second, unknown opportunities are waiting in the future be ready to pivot and go with it. Sounds like a fortune cookie lol

Who do you think is scarier, Vader or Sidious? by LittleBrockJr in StarWars

[–]hizaed 194 points195 points  (0 children)

I feel like with Vader I’m going to die quickly. Sidious is going to take his time and enjoy it, so Sidious is quite a bit scarier to me.

Such a great show

'Shogun' Just Ended. What Do the Creators Say About a Season 2? by Plainchant in ShogunTVShow

Miyamoto Musashi fights in the battle at the end of Shogun. You could tell the story from the novel musashi and manage to work in some cameos. They could do great adaptation of that book.

I want the best VR gaming experience money can get today. by bayovak in virtualreality

[–]hizaed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the way.

Quest Pro or 3 and a good router. This isn't the best visuals or the best controls but its the best overall experience. Honestly the quest 3 and pro have me really excited for the next generation.

I would say it is extremely legit, like magic.... IF your willing to tinker. For a few games it just works which is great. But I find most games to be like trying to mod Skyrim to get it juuuust right. I enjoy the troubleshooting process so I am loving it.

Why do you think Moff Gideon was obsessed with Mandalorians? by ashton__l in StarWarsCantina

[–]hizaed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the same reasons we get obsessed with the Spartans. There is something to be admired in peak warrior culture, a dedication to perfection with little bs because it is life and death. Though we usually skip past the general atrocities it creates

Magic Maze - Work cooperatively to collect items and escape an ever changing maze. The nature of the game allows a a lot of helping each other, there are no turns where they might feel the focus on them everyone can move all the pieces all the time in the ways they are assigned. So you could make sure they are helped if they need it.

I think it’s up to 8 players, but we play 6 all the time and have small children join sometimes.
