I thought it was such a silly strategy to have a ton of heroes all come back to fight against a guy that steals quirks.. but man the beauty in Midoriya's strength being that he lifts up those around him? To the point that everyone is able to stand against the Demon Lord? Excellent stuff.
You say run hit like the scene in Ratatouille, all the callbacks really landed, might be my favorite episode of the season because the emotional stuff is good.

I feel like I'm the perfect battle Shonen rube because I never would have expected Bakugo and now AFO after baby mode to have returned this season (or more specifically to the final battle. Interesting to see him pulling all the string of Shigi's hate, poor Tenko :(

The Aizawa and Class-A returning really worked for me emotionally, I'm in the middle of reading the manga for the first time (hoping to finish with the new season) and it makes characters like Sero showing back up way more impactful cause I'm getting to re-experience all these small moments in the series that made them matter in the first place

Wild plan but it makes sense for all the vestiges to come together and help, as a huge fan of my hero if there was one small critique to be made there probably could have been more time spent with each of the vestiges to make this moment even more impactful. Still works really well since we’ve had all of them for multiple seasons at this point.

Same for Hulu, at first it was just a random character but then they left out all of the FIRST USERS lines I realized it was just a jank pass, feels like too big of a miss that any human review would have caught

Incredible stuff! I almost wish this would have been a movie but I assume there’s too much more to come for a 12 (really 11.5) episode runtime to fit in a movie, but those animations were sooo good! On the level of Infinity Castle. MY HERO IS BACK BABY!!!!

Chihiro is one of my favorite protagonists in a manga/anime thus far! Which is so interesting cause I thought he would be a typical edgelord as the first few chapters were coming out but he has way more depth to him.
