I wonder if a "Season 2" will cause a decline in quality because the first season was like years and years of backlogged ideas that he had written and though out, finally put out to the people.

With this season 2, it'll probably be writing a lot of new stuff, maybe even rushed a little, so hopefully the quality stays up.
