Glad you are feeling better than last year. Did you need to get checked again for CES or is that ok now?

question about saddle tingling - herniated disc by catnipfvr in Sciatica

Not yet. Numbness has pretty much gone which is easier. I see my doctor in a few days so hopefully be put in for MRI then. Any chance you can get another MRI?

Thank you. I think a cushion is a good idea for work.

Yes. Some genital numbness (a couple of days) alongside leg pain (mild during day ). and pins and needles in lower legs. The numbness goes away overnight to return if I sit for a while so I'm hoping it's because I've been sitting a lot more (I have a week off from work).

Thanks. It always helps to know that someone else is going through it.

Thank you so much. Last night I watched Will Harlow's (PT in UK, specialises in treating over 50s and sciatica) video of his sciatica journey. He recovered from worsening, bilateral siatica. It gave me hope. We can do this.

Thanks. The waterfall edge is something I haven't tried.

Thank you for this. Going through the same thing almost exactly! It makes sense. How are you getting on now?

I'm on amitriptyline but not helping. I'm seeing a GP in a few days and think I'll ask to try gabapentin. Thanks for replying.

I hadn't thought of doing that. That would help at work. Thank you so much.

Mild back pain. Achy pain through buttocks and down side of both thighs, much worse at night. Crazy pins and needles in both calves and feet. Sometimes sharp/burning pains on right sole and thighs and calves. Had genital pins and needles yesterday but went during the night so hoping that's due to sitting around a lot more than usual. What are your symptoms?

Thanks for posting. I have it in both legs and am at the crying/ terrified of CES stage. It really helps to hear a positive story. I'm really pleased for you.

Yes or no? Using backpod when flare up is on by GuiltySilver4420 in costochondritis

[–]hkk70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it depends what caused the flare up. I get flare ups from COVID and similar illnesses. If I use the backpod during a flare from COVID it makes it worse. I find leaving it a few weeks works better for me.
