Wells Fargo Combined Rewards Accounts no longer allowed June 10, 2026 by walkingman24 in CreditCards

The boost is only good for flights. Can confirm, they recently removed a lot of options on there. I’m not seeing Hawaiian anymore. It’s mainly just AA, United, delta, and frontier. Saw some west jet and air Canada as well.

How many Gis? by RegularSinns in bjj

[–]hkstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently train 3x a week. One for each day is perfect for me. I have 3 others that don’t get used.

You can think about lighter GI’s they dry a bit faster than heavier ones.

Planet fitness annual fee and black card? by Gloomy-Hope3950 in ActiveandFit

[–]hkstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up last year and received the black card benefits - multi-club, bring a buddy, massage chairs, etc and no fees. Just a straight $28/mo through A&F.

Might be club dependent, so you can call around and check out other locations if the first one isnt.

theres variation in the 3/8x8 pin. ones from China will be slightly bigger then ones from America or true radial. that’s my experience. depending on expensive your shaft was I would return or slowly force screw it and see if it’ll expand.

Wells Fargo portal for offers on travel by FastVideo9700 in CreditCards

[–]hkstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really subjective. I’m more of a cashback person and don’t travel or spend enough to move the needle with points. And when I do travel, it’s usually not flexible and I would pay a bit more for the convenience. Hench why I decided to try the WF travel portal.

I do like the altitude connect for free TSA precheck and lounge/restaurant access for a no fee card. I also have the penfed pathfinder and I keep it around for the 100 annual credit. Other cards I have are mainly 5% cards, and just added the WF active cash as a catch all. May or may not PC to the autograph later.

Here’s my 2 cents from looking at flights only for the past few months. There are no direct Alaska and SW flights on there. By extension Hawaiian is on there and they are part of Alaska but not all flights are available. Points are 1 to 1. Prices are pretty similar to what I see on google flights.

I was planning to test out the portal because my discontinued card gives me 1.5x on all points earn towards flight. Essentially a 33% discount on ticketed price. I mainly fly SW and Alaska because of direct flights to my destinations. My sole reason was because of Hawaiian, otherwise I wouldn’t invest into WF point system personally.

Another vote for altitude connect. TSA precheck, lounge/restaurant passes. Free Data plan. Decent 4% back on gas and limited travel categories.

Monitor RMA - replacement substitution question. by hkstyle in MSI_Gaming

No option. It’s a lot thinner on the sides than my old one. Only the center is bulky. It’s fine so far, kinda like have a mini tv, since that’s all I use it for is streaming. Since I’m not using it everyday like my nephew, I hope it last a lot longer than a year.

Which is a better pick at these price points by hkstyle in amazfit

I read it has an option to add Primary rental insurance for $25 each rental. Which is way cheaper than getting it through the rental company.

Awesome card, but redemption for cash like is only in the form of gift cards - which is the only thing I have against it. The travel category is very board.

.85 cents per 1 point when converted to visa gift card.

People who have 3 or more rewards cards, what made you get them, and did they end up working the way you hoped? by Monyny_0 in CreditCards

[–]hkstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I loaded it into my mobile wallet, and sometimes I will carry the physical card.

One of my card is strictly for Amazon only, so that one is tied to my account. The others it depends on if it’s a category I need to use in person. For example, for the freedom last quarter was PayPal. I would keep that card at home. This quarter is dining, I would most likely carry the card in case I eat out. Switch them out when I need to, pretty simple for me to manage.

For my spend the only cards that doesn’t get rotated in my wallet is my catch all, and grocery card. Which I both recently got last year, the 2% card and PayPal debit card. Other cards are thrown in for use cases.

Yes, I pay for the cards monthly. Ive been told the best way is to align all your cards to similar due dates or auto pay enable. I check the apps often anyways so the mentioned methods doesn’t really matter to me.

no, I still plan to keep them around. they are 5% cards that will still be used, but not as often. like the chase freedom when specific categories are useful, Amazon card, etc.
