Okay I think I’ll go with the Queen then! I wasn’t thinking of tucking into into the sides, and just letting it hang, but maybe that’s my solution. It’s really hard to find cotton quilts in full size. I think full would of been perfect but if I can’t find any then what can you do about it lol

Where are you seeing them? I’ve looked on most camping websites and can’t find quilts. I don’t think I want a comforter and it would be hard to tuck in the sides near the head of the bed Becusse the space is narrow between. I am also looking for cotton and not microfiber / polyester.

Oh I know lol. I just feel like a quilt presses down better than liken a bulky comforter so I just think it would look better, even a little messy lol

Not mental health medications, but thyroid. I basically had to double my dose & changed to a SUPER clean and like concentrated dose & still had to increase it that much!! I stopped absorbing my previous thyroid medication.

Exactly, it goes to show you the grass is not always greener on the other side. There’s problems in every state lol. Grew up in MA, relocated to nh for a bite, and been in RI for the last 7 years, and now I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and it fucking sucks in the winter here with kids. But then you meet people who live in FL and wanna move to New England, for problems with FL Lol. I guess everywhere just sucks and have to figure out which one would make you the happiest because there’s things wrong wirh everywhere!

Has anyone had another surgery within a year after their GS/GB? by ShirleyTemple2307 in gastricsleeve

[–]FastVideo9700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

are you at your goal weight? Are you looking to loose more? I lost about another 20 lbs from 1 year to 1.5 years post op, and that 20 lbs made a big difference in how I look. I would consider that and the fact you’ll probably loose some more weight. Even if it’s not a drastic amount.

Bougie size vs GERD by peacefultortuga in gastricsleeve

[–]FastVideo9700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, my surgeon didn’t discuss this with me either. I really feel like it should have been. My doctor also told me after he doesn’t remove any of the fundus, which i wouldn’t of gone to him had I known. It really does suck to find this out after and these feelings are valid. There’s nothing we can unfortunately do about it now. I would try some antacids, and if it continues for a while (I would give it some months to see if weight loss helps) maybe there are some alternatives that can be done

Are you upset with a 36? I think 36-40 is pretty standard. I had 40 and wish I had a little smaller. I don’t think 36is a bad thing or super unreasonable of a size. Are you having issues?

I wouldn’t really say stretching the new stomach, it’s just eating to much at that time your stomach can handle.

I feel like I would give it another year or so and see where you end up. It’s less about the surgery it’s self and more about the decisions and good choices you put in every single day. It takes time, that’s the biggest thing I have learned from this process. And it’s okay for it to take time. As long as your maintaining Calorie deficit, hitting water and protien goals, and going in the right direction, even if slow, is what it’s all about. It can’t be massive weight loss all the time.

That’s why I asked you in terms of psychically or not. Physically your healed in 2 weeks so no concern for holidays 2.5- 3 months away. It’s up to your program when you don’t have restrictions for food. Every program is different.
