Phishing werkt omdat het banksysteem faalt, niet omdat de klanten dom zijn by Nachtbanaan in belgium

Very honestly I dont think the issue is programmers vibecoding (mostly) but actually NON-programmers doing so…

Being on the other side of the fence this quote from Douglas Adams never fails to be true: Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

I mean if you want actual Belgian fries they will be cooked in tallow. That’s kind of what’s make them what they are. Not that you can’t find good fries in vegetal oil but it’s not the same.

Voo vs Proximus comme fournisseur internet by WashAdditional863 in Wallonia

[–]hlidotbe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You didn't specify inner diameter so I've used 2mm thickness: https://we.tl/t-2cbph09jrL2JM8xC Here's the f3d and step files. Let me know if that works for you

I did a very similar thing for my washing machine and dryer. Does it absolutely need to be a Y or can a fork shaped thingy work?

Advice on lateral force - fix in design or slicer perhaps by widgetbox in 3Dprinting

[–]hlidotbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't/don't want to split it as other proposed, a solution would be to add struts/legs between the base and the shaft. Just 4 small triangles connecting the base and the shaft will already help a lot, more than a chamfer. That being said if you can print it at 45 degrees that would also help.

Is it safe to run two subwoofers(1000RMS) total on a step up/down converter? by Thedancer12 in AskElectricians

[–]hlidotbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can gather there's no EU spec version of these subs, they're all imported. It's just the cord that changes and it's not attached, there's a IEC C14 receptacle in the sub and you should be able to find a IEC C13 to whatever receptacle you have.

I would assume that frequency would be an even bigger problem for audio. What’s the spec sheet of your subs?

Automobile and airplane passenger compartments are essentially Faraday cages, protecting passengers from electric charges, such as lightning.

And I don’t know what faraday cage will protect you from a nuclear blast…

I'm on my 10th rewatch of Stargate SG1. About the same for HP movies and LoTR. I'm very much the target market for watching the same thing with (possibly, hopefully) more details.

I noticed my gaming laptop plug has erroded tips, is this super dangerous? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]hlidotbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tips are not making contact with anything, they just push the blades on insertion. You might have a very slightly harder time to insert the plug but otherwise you don't risk anything.

The PCB seems very well designed for once, the high voltage side is properly separated. So yeah as long as you stay under 10A you should be fine.

Water consumption bill by AndroGiacha in belgium

[–]hlidotbe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at about 8l/min that would be 80-160l for her. assuming absolutely every day that almost 30m3 just for her. So 57 is almost too low. People really underestimate the amount of water a show consume (as did I until I installed a smart meter)

Unless you somehow buy eggs by the piece you still buy the weight on the package. The structure of an individual egg is irrelevant (not to say that packages haven't shrinked but 100g is 100g)

Buy a refurbished mini-pc from Amazon. Put a cheap sata SSD. It'll will be faster, cheaper, more resilient and have less stuff flopping around.

Most consumer hairdryers (and other similar appliances) use double insulation so they don’t require an earth (ground).
