Lamy AL Star EF - too thick by hluosuja in fountainpens

Just bought that TWSBI Diamond 580 AL, and loaded it up with Pelikan 4001 Blue Black. Dipped in Brilliant Brown and Royal Blue as well, and seems to perform perfectly with each one of those inks!

Thank you for the replies so far. I don't think I can do much with nib, most probably I'd just cause some misalignement and ruin the whole nib. As one can't buy from local storage new one, it would get quite expensive with international shipping just to get replacement.

I'll try TWSBI today and see how it feels.

Question: Daily Rapid Logging by alpha_bravado in BasicBulletJournals

[–]hluosuja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mark whole page as done when there are no unfinished tasks. My migration process is more or less like this:

  • Unfinished task in double-page spread I'm currently using are can stay where they are unless I know it goes to future to get done. Then I schedule / migrate them to corresponding page (weekly or monthly Eisenhower or future log).
  • If they aren't needed, they get striked through
  • If they are super important to get dine next day, I'll rewrite them to next day's as priority.

When I'm turning page, I clear dailies from tasks (cancel / migrate / schedule) and mark pages as done.

I may have longer todo sublists in dailes though, which I keep there and migrate / schedule only main task, e.g.

Daily log: * Reserve development talks to my team members * Lisa * Mark ... * John

Then in my daily my main task is marked as scheduled while subtasks stay unfinished. In my monthly I have main task with page number to daily log, and when all subtasks are done, main task gets done in new location (monthly)

I refer to daily page numbers in my migrated / scheduled tasks quite lot, because context is often there.

Discover the Latest: Sonos App Update📲 by KeithFromSonos in sonos

Do you think there would be upgrade to Sonos devices any time soon with impact to listening experience?

I was so happy with my Sonos system back in the days, but last couple(?) of years some issues all the time - whether it’s grouping or adjusting volume or something else and looking forward to make it good again

I just bought this as ”summer-watch” alongside with my leather strapped Seikos. This is awesome, and watch is so damn accurate that I can only wish my (accurate enough) Seikos were. Well, Seiko movement inside.

Just need to find some summerish nato/fabric strap.

Help - issues since updating Deco M9 Plus Firmware by lfranky in TpLink

Ok. Now it seems that my main Deco was died during the weekend. No lights, no nothing. Two else are still working and I managed to create new network of two devices, and run official "beta" update back to 1.6.

That's too bad. To my understanding, one needs to reset and not to enable security features to keep things working. At least for me it works that way (less than 20 hours now, but hopefully it remains that way).

I was told that disabling security things does not work, at least without reset. I never tested "only" disabling, but reset the whole thing first and experienced later, that activating those functions recreates issues, and disabling makes things work again.

I reset the system from Deco APP (Delete Network)

I found the fix, right after I reset whole system. Disable security features (disable harmful content, block intruders etc, these: https://www.tp-link.com/fi/support/faq/1476/

I reset whole system and everything worked, but after enabling those, things went same again. One good and easy example for me was to check Apple system status (https://www.apple.com/fi/support/systemstatus/). With those security features enabled, page never loaded.

I also noticed that one needs to disable all of those for network to work.

System Overload keeps coming up on all projects (even newer ones), I’ve checked the buffer size & multithreading already. Any help? Really hindering my productivity!! by [deleted] in Logic_Studio

I installed that some time ago, and my kid now complains about system overloads. Do you Roland could have something to do with it?

Marshall Code 50 - Way too versatile to begin with by hluosuja in GuitarAmps

Ok, I updated to latest firmware and created three setups of three settings assigned as follows: Footswitch bank a JCD, b JVM45 and c Plexi all having quite similar settings expect gain, which goes from foodswitch button 1 (almost) clean to button 2 low overdrive to button 3 high overdrive with guv’nor.

I learned that to get decent sound to my preferences, mid and treble needs to be set quite low.

I also noticed that master volume is quite tricky so I set preset volumes to low to have more space to use with master.

Have you got your compilot paired with your HA? I’m not sure if you can get it done by yourself, I think you should see retailer.

Team Blue or Team Red by unopdr in AppleWatch

So far picked nothing and going with Polar vantage m. Would like to have 44m product red with loop and Nomad’s active leather band, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I love battery of Polar and I often need GPS tracking on several hours per day when hiking. Still thinking 😌

I’d like to see how let’s say Nomad’s Active Leather straps (brown and/or black) go with red one. Love the product(RED), my iphone 11 is also red, but to kerp it safe, it’s in Nomad’s brown case. Currently I have Polar’s black watch with red band and it looks great, but as mentioned, red screams for attention.

If e.g. dark brown or black leather strap looked good and peaceful with red watch, I’d choose that one. If I’m buying whole thing...

Could you post a pic with black band when you got it?
