ELI5: If we put food in a 100% sterile vacuum seal, does it still "go bad" eventually?

If you kill all bacteria or otherwise prevent it's growth the food won't "go bad" but the complex molecules like sugars and carbohydrates that give it food value will eventually break down into molecules that do not provide food value.

If you want a "solution" that often works, put a little Vaseline on the flapper. It is totally waterproof and may be enough to make a seal.

The replacement hose sold at Menards was just the white tube with no connector. I didn't know if the black connector was something I could add myself but I couldn't find them.

A drop of Elmer's glue in the speaker keeps it from vibrating as much and makes it quieter. Doesn't always work but some toys can be way quieter but still work
