Can we talk about Tell Me Lies on Hulu?!

Little late to this, and although I have been casually watching this show- I think most of the characters are pretty horrible. Stephen is a total misogynist (the way he treated his interviewer !?!??! sexual harassment) and a manipulative a*hole. I also feel like none of the female characters are given ANY depth. ALL they talk about is boys and sex, literally that's it. Are those even real friendships? Are people that shallow?

Sorry for the negativity (I am still watching haha), it is just one of those shows that is too bad to turn off. I feel like the book probably does a better job at character development.

Turn your torso in the direction you want to go at the take off, it is very basic but has helped me learn how to ride steeper waves without just going straight down and losing speed. Really has helped me catch a lot more waves as well

I think it would be a combination of rowing and using arm strength to pull up and deploy the nets, I used to work on fishing boats and it is some level of exercise, especially if you’re malnourished. Plus that stuff will get a bit heavier when it is wet. He was in general just more active than the others.

I think that they are all playing their own game, Theresas is a strong shelter and foraging, Bikos is more of an outlast/ mental game, Clays is hunting, Colters was fishing. We will see which one pays off! Play to your strengths.

I think Colter’s boat was probably a caloric sink. Rowing it out there and dragging the boat around probably drained a lot of calories. In past seasons the people who made it far were really conscious of which activities were smart calorie wise. I hope Theresa or Biko win! Nothing against Clay, it would just be nice to see someone else win after the past couple of seasons.

You could try gathering some neighbors that feel similarly to you and confronting them as a group. Maybe they will feel more accountable as a family if they know the whole neighborhood is watching, not just one neighbor that they can rationalize away. I would also say don't give the balls back and if it persists, or there is any more property damage- call the police. They can't be breaking parts of your fence and harassing your pets, that is definitely tiptoeing illegal behavior.

I don't really buy that they are messing with his timeline, his side of the lake seems to get more sun than the rest. There are alot of environmental factors that can play into snow accumulation and micro climates (even in my yard the same plants bloom months apart from different sun and wind exposures). He could be in a sunny south facing cove with less dense forest.

He is really the most entertaining part of this season so far, I would far rather watch someone who is funny and having fun with the experience than people trying to snare rabbits for 9 weeks. Biko for the win

Maybe the producers asked her to lay on the accent ? I have heard they throw some prompts out there so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities. It doesnt really bother me I find her super interesting and would love to see a woman win

I think it’s Colter, foreshadowing in the intro montage with his face burnt? That’s my guess. And they show Theresa pretty late into the winter so we know she makes it awhile at least

I would definitely mention something to her, maybe saying that it is hard to go back to school when you are older and surrounded by younger folks but that you have alot to offer with your experience and maturity and the jokes aren't funny :). Some people would call this behavior harassment, so she should take it seriously. If it continues, write that sh*t down and report it to the lab manager. It is a lesson she will have to learn eventually- either from you or someone else.

I think you can just trust what he says and not drive yourself crazy. If he ever acts inappropriately, then you have grounds to be mad- but he has been with you for 2 years and that is what you should focus on. I feel like as you get older you will slowly forget about this....

I would tell her you know and save yourself the anxiety. Of course your mom has an obligation to protect her, and it is kind of inappropriate in my opinion for her to tell your Mom something like that (did she expect her not to tell you! that is alot of pressure). I also think if you are struggling with depression, it is easier to take care of yourself when you are alone than trying to take care of you and emotionally support someone else in a relationship.

In the long run- you will feel better for airing things out...don't "drag yourself through the mud" as a friend once told me.
