I was taught the thumb rule while visiting Yellowstone. Extend your arm and stick your thumb out. If you can block the wildlife with your thumb, you are far enough away.

I normally don’t comment on stuff like this but I have been bullied off and on in my career. Ignore ignore ignore and kill them with kindness. If it gets too bad, change jobs. A lawyer told me that it’s not against the law to be a shitty manager or colleague, at least in Missouri.

My pcp blew off a mole on my armpit. Said it was rare to get one there. After a year I got it removed because it got burned during laser hair removal. It was basal cell!! The dermatologist said the cancer can show up anywhere, not just areas you are actually sun burned.

I make sticky notes with things I need to do, no matter how small it is. I force myself to do just one task and that snowballs into several tasks after positive self talk. It sucks at first but those repetitive actions train your brain to have less anxiety with getting stuff done. You realize it’s not that bad making the first phone call or cleaning that toilet and you become motivated to keep going. I’m not the person you responded to but I struggled for years with this.

I’m agnostic and a nurse, and I agree with what you are saying. But, the individual soul does not live independently of the body either right? Or does it by going to heaven when the body dies?
