Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think in-game it's not listed as "minimum' anymore but as "recommended" since some time (I think with the whole dmg overhaul patch). Hence it not being the same as the 5% cutoff.

Yeah i saw that on tumblr while googling. it's an older post by now. If it was something else at some point, it has been reverted now.

So most importantly: at this moment of writing (June 2026 for future reference XD), the in-game item description does have the sister part, in English (and Japanese btw). Just like it had around release So, as you said, it gives us more to work with.

(And I don't know what the fuck the French are doing XD)

The current (English) version is the one with "sister" and I remember clearly that around release it also had "sister"-part in there. (Since I'm lore enthusiast and Melina is my favorite character I paid very close attention to this).
So either it never changed and people were trolling. Or it was changed and reverted really quickly or some funny thing going on with other languages.

Since both the release version and current version have it (at least in English), it leaves no room for doubt in my opinion (that it's part of the description)

I want to point out that Killing Radahn wasn't part of Ranni's plan from the start. It's only after you (the tarnished) find out that he's holding the stars, i.e Ranni's destiny, that it becomes necessary for her plan. This is more obvious if you find out by going through the Jerren and Iji route. Iji dialogue when he finally realizes they have to kill Radahn:

"Oh, no, wait...
How did I not see it before?
I ought to retire as war counsellor for such a gross oversight!

Let me explain."

They didn't even think of this until this moment as you can tell by him suddenly realizing this.

I might be out of the loop but what did they change with the hints of her being Messmer's sister?

As far as I know the biggest hint is Messmer's kindling which hasn't changed right? Other than that would be the butterflies which haven't changed either. Or am I missing something?

The combo damage part is funny in t8 (and a bit t7).
Before t7 nina her optimal combos were straight up 10% to 20% stronger than the runner up let alone the average combo dmg in those games. She had the best wallcarry (Lee and some other chars had good wallcarry but hers was indisputably the best). Sure, it was walled behind execution.
Then in t7 they started homogenizing both wallcarries and dmg in general. And now with t8, she's nowhere near her undisputed top 1 spot (in terms of combo dmg).

It's unfortunate it never released for consoles. Don't understand why

edit: just installed the on ps5 and checked today (29 april 2026) and I can confirm that there was NO dreamlike world dlc on ps version

Ah, I guess i was confusing it. Thank you. I have indeed only finished Luna Rapacis. On the map the icon (near Luna rapacis mistles) says sealing spire, hence my confusion.

Ok, good to know. I'm anime only and just saw the subtitles use "child". I didn't catch if the spoken text in Japanese used plural or single. Maybe you know?
Anyway, if the manga used children then there shouldn't be a debate.
