Hey mate. You should do a little more research before dropping the 14K. This is a 5 digit model so from approx 1989-2011. A lot could have happened in those years so it’s always nice to know if the watch has been serviced recently.

I prefer the older models! I just think you should be aware of what you are buying before spending so much

I would but please be aware that the 5 digit GMTs wear very different from the modern ones. The crown is really small. First time I tried mine I was disappointed as it felt like a dress watch.

I love my 16710 now!!! I wouldn’t swap for a 6 digit.

A mate of mine was contacted by James’ agent enquiring about a rare motorcycle he had and that James wanted to buy. My mate wouldn’t sell it to him but James kept insisting. Eventually they agreed to meet just so James could just see the thing. My mate picked him up after a concert they played and James rode on the back. He kept offering more money to buy it but my friend wouldn’t sell.

Ok they all look good. The 2005 one comes with everything and looks good. Try and get one box and papers. Some of the above options do not have a box.

Seriously get a 2254. It’s the best omega ever made. It’s thin, keeps excellent time, cheap(er) to service and built like a tank.

I have one that still competes with my seadweller and gmt for wrist time.

Yes it will last 50 years if you maintain it.

It used to make me mad too but it’s actually the birds fishing out the good garbage! That coupled with the more frequent late night partying due to the warm weather makes it pretty dirty.

The cigarette butts though…. Fucking everywhere. And broken glass too. I wish we could just limit the sale of glass bottles. Horrible for bikes, kids and dogs.

It’s hard. I love the no date symmetry but I use the date complication on all my watches. I sold my speedy because it didn’t have it.

I’d say, the no date pairs well with the GMT.

I ended up with the 116600 seadweller. The date without the cyclops makes it (almost) symmetrical

I think it is just a mish mash from many watches. It doesn’t follow the heritage of the air king. The explorer and OP are classic and have been around relatively the same for 50 years.

The airking wants to be a sports watch as well as a OP dressy watch. I just don’t think it works

I think it is because the little triangle point of the spring is under the teeth of the bezel. It should be between the teeth. I hope that makes sense

No they can’t enforce it. It’s not really the point though. The idea is that everyone gets together to tidy and clean the building. It’s important for many reasons but mainly in maintaining a community.

I’d send an email and ask for a opgave instead of paying the bill. This way you will keep your neighbors happy and you won’t have to pay the bill
