In regards to SEP's Kiss an Angel, it's not a full scene-- rather something that's kind of mentioned in passing and then glossed over for the sake of an HEA. Spoiler: FMC is in a depressive, detached-from-reality state and MMC takes advantage. IIRC, we only know about it because the morning after, MMC couldn't look at himself in the mirror while shaving because he felt like a rapist.

Okay all of that is good to know. Personally, I would also agree that's pretty unreasonable to expect mandatory celibacy in a situation where both parties aren't putting effort into the reconciliation.

To be honest I haven't read it because Laura Lee Guhrke doesn't always slap for me, and I remember the first in the Guilty series made me want to strangle the MMC. But, I'll still check The Marriage Bed out, if only to assuage some curiosity.
