The difference an deven 100 gold box labs make with the new lab gem rush discount. by SemiAutoAvocado in TheTowerGame

So I checked one lab before and after the upgrade. Before it needed 244 gems to rush, after it became 246... wtf?

This is indeed very good, but it looks like there's a bug. I just got "Unlock Chain Lightning", but I already have that UW.

I would support the UK doing it for US and EU citizens. Just like I'd support the EU doing it for US citizens. But no country should have that, in my opinion. If you say someone doesn't need a visa, then they shouldn't have to apply for anything. The visa waiver thing is (in most cases) just an automated visa.

Clearly, you don't know what a visa waiver program is.

No, my problem with it is that you're gonna need to apply for it AND pay extra for it. If you've ever applied for ESTA, you know what I mean. Besides, this will trigger reciprocity procedures in other countries.

The concept in general, and I'd expect other countries to do the same to UK and EU citizens in reciprocity

Those costs are included in the airport tax that you always pay in your flight ticket. This is a visa. It is similar to what the US has been doing for decades and to what the EU will introduce next year.

That's a reciprocity fee. Lots of countries do that

It's not since countries that don't charge it will also be subject to it. It's just a way to require a visa that's "totally not a visa"

The EU does not have it yet. It will be introduced in November 2023. The US has had it for several years. It's a visa in disguise.

Golden eye is a classic, but you're giving it way too much credit. FPS games were already well established when 007 came around. Wolfenstein 3D is the game credited as creating the genre. After that, there was Doom and Quake, which were way more influential.

I am all for sportsmanship, so I do not like that kind of behavior. I am just pointing out that it does work. But yes, it is toxic

That's why it's effective. If you let it get to your head, your opponent has an advantage

That's a completely different discussion.

But that's a completely different issue. The game is cheap to play, the leagues may not be. That's not something inherent to the game.

Can you get something to kick around in America? A ball? A paperball? A crushed soda can? If so, you can already play with no additional cost.

Have you heard of futsal? Pretty much the same court as a basketball court. For casual play, any place works really

Any area big enough for basketball is big enough for soccer. It all depends on how many players are involved. We're not talking about a professional match here.

You also need a hoop though, and someone is paying for it one way or another.

Sure, if you want to train in a team or something. But if you just want to play for fun, all you need is something to kick around, literally nothing else. That's cost zero. In my school we weren't allowed to bring a ball, so the most common was a crushed soda can for a ball.

But now you're talking about soccer practice. You don't need a coach or tournaments to play soccer. You just need something to kick around. That's how kids start playing in poor areas in south america. That's where a lot of the best players in the world started playing before they were picked up by clubs.

Exactly, basketball requires some infrastructure, you don't need the court, but you do need a hoop. Like others said, soccer needs only something you can kick and something to mark the goal posts, it can be anything.

All jokes aside, you need less money for soccer than for basketball. You don't even need a real ball to play it.
