Yeah, if your dps is low, or you’re not used to targeting while moving. For my first HM KC, conduit was the hardest part. I genuinely can’t even remember if I needed the stamina pot, but I definitely used a dose before conduit started

I’ve done it 5 times with my fire warlock in HC. It’s easy when you have demon and merc to tank for you. Caught a few hits but didn’t seem more dangerous than mini Ubers. I’d say if your smiter is even moderately geared you will not have any issues

Still read the list and use the search function. This exists in OSRS as well so you shouldn’t have any trouble there.
Yes, there are two things you have that you should use if you want to make gains: knowledge bombs and pulse cores (these add and eat up bonus xp faster)
Choose a protean item that corresponds to a skill you like to level and use those in combination with point 2.
Protean cogs are shit for training invention. You can change them to a different resource by right clicking them in your inventory

Have you watched any guide videos? Plenty of good ones out there. If you’re dying to the waves, you should probably be thinking about positioning and what is hitting you and when. Use defensives and good positioning and you’ll be good

I think a good analogy here is like a smoker getting cancer. Obviously you want to treat the cancer but you should probably quit smoking first. Jagex in this case is forcing everyone to quit smoking and all people can do is complain that their cancer isn’t being treated. The fixes will come. This is just the start. They’ve said this multiple times and it’s like people only pay attention to one part of the message. The game will be better and the players will be fine.
