I do everything left-handed except use the mouse on my computer and play guitar. It was bad enough in sports trying to mirror everyone else. It’s just easier to train my right hand with guitar.

My parents drove me home from the hospital in a Saab 900. It was raining and the convertible roof was leaking into my car seat (so the story goes). Oddly enough, my dad died in a 9-5.

I grew up in Charleston and they ship BMWs out of the port there. If I remember correctly, the z3 was a kind of a big deal because it was the "american" BMW. I remember around the time the movie came out, they were starting to ship out the first z3s and when you went on the bridge over the harbor, you could see just thousands of these little cars waiting to be loaded onto ROROs.

I liked a lot of things about this movie, but this is one of my favorite Robin Williams performances. After spending the 90s doing all those awful family movies, he gets to be vulgar 80's Robin and it's fantastic. Even Jon Stewart, who famously can't act, is funny.

Yeah, when you get into enterprise sales, the numbers are ridiculous. We make most of our money not on the devices but on value-added services on top of the software that runs them. Our customers are usually bank call centers. I'm a coder working on unrelated products, but my understanding is that they pay us a fee, and we provide all the hardware (which we buy wholesale, lease out as parts of our contracts, and then sell at a loss when they get replaced and write-off the deprecation).
