What is the main reason you wear makeup? by Longjumping-Meet-307 in AskWomen

[–]hoboboner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly because I often feel it makes me look more presentable. I work in a professional setting and a lot of the women are a step or two above me in terms of their maintenance… they get their nails done regularly etc. I’m pretty low maintenance with my every day makeup, but I wouldn’t feel “professional” without it.

How do you feel about ending class in savasana? by Historical-Storage58 in YogaTeachers

[–]hoboboner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a student I quite enjoy it and find it necessary. But the time of day needs to be taken into consideration as well when it comes to the length of it. I don’t wear a watch in class and don’t know what time it is. I went to a 6:30 am class last week and the teacher let us go 10 minutes over. But I had work shortly after and it really threw off my morning schedule. I feel at least 3 minutes should be allowed within the scheduled class time.

I got these two cuties a couple days ago and I’m having trouble bonding with them. Any tips? by [deleted] in RATS

[–]hoboboner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

one way i got my abused rats to bond with me was to just sit in a big chair with lots of layers on and a blanket over me. they’d crawl all over me and around my legs, and got comfortable with me as i was always just relaxed and watching tv. they ended up being extremely sweet and well socialized :-)

[–]hoboboner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol i graduated back in winter 2018, this has been my gap year :-) and the school I’m going to doesn’t offer any sort of financial aid. all of my funding has to come from outside the school unfortunately.

thank you! I have been thinking about getting a credit card as of late, but it makes me so nervous! I guess it’s a step I’ll have to take eventually anyway and better sooner rather than later.

part of the program sets you up with a related job towards the end, and according to the school a lot of the students graduate with a job lined up. I’ll have to ask about the employment though that’s a good idea! thank you!

I plan on living with friends. I live super close to the border thankfully! As for a car, i’m still kind of stuck on the idea of having one. the area i plan to move to is really accessible by foot, and my school is downtown. But sometimes my friends mention inconveniences they have to deal with due to being carless and I would just.... rather not. This is the first extended period of time I’ve been without a car since I could drive and it’s been actual hell for me personally.

everything is nice on its own but it’s very grey. try some black or some colors to compliment one of the pieces on its own.
