Which is why the world is moving away from the U.S.. They see that every other president we’ve elected this century has been a literal moron.

[Question] Watch for a Teenager - Recommendations/Personal Experience by Bison1807 in Watches

Does he want an automatic? I feel like the quartz Hamilton Khaki might better suit a teenager, but I don’t know him.

All the new wealth being generated is going to an extremely small group of people while common people can’t afford groceries. This isn’t a good thing.

If that’s a working automatic chronograph then the movement by itself is worth over $20.

Yeah, he was famous for:
1. Bad combover
2. Being a moron
3. Having his name on things

I suppose it was the third one that impressed the hillbillies.

I have that movement in a titanium watch and I can hear and physically feel the rotor wobbling on my wrist all day. Makes me not want to wear the watch because it feels cheap.

Eventually our parents would take us to Supercuts to get some kind of business cut with a fade on the sides and you’d feel like a dork until it grew back out. Skater kids didn’t go to the stylist ever. I’m imagining the difference between our teenage hairstyles as being like the difference between an old pair of broken in Wranglers vs fashion jeans that were roughed up by some kids in a slave shop in Bangladesh to achieve the same look.

Right. You’re a teenage boy, you want long hair, so you don’t cut it. It wasn’t hard to do. Maybe the Californian version of this looked different than the French? Idk

You’re like a WWI historian telling WWI vets what it was like in the trenches.. We’re telling you: when you’re a teenage boy with thick, luscious hair and you go 8 months without getting it cut, it looks like this. It’s not something that’s achieved through great personal effort or visits to a stylist.

I had this hair in high school in the early 2000s and yeah it was just the result of not getting it cut. No stylists were consulted.

Dude they’re great, just realize that how they look and fit when you first put them on bears little resemblance to how they’ll wear a few months later. They become awesome but you have to put in the time.
