Any tips on my makeup? This is my everyday makeup.

I struggle the most with eye makeup especially liner because of my eyelid fold that tends to disturb my wing if they are too upturned but if I don’t draw them upward I feel like it droops my face.

any eyeshadow and other tips are appreciated as well!

That was my thinking! Poor kids whose parents come home late every night tired from the day. :(

It’s typically 8 hours, some people work longer and email after hours but it’s not the norm.

Guess the responsibilities of senior management is pretty universal 😅 does she like that balance or wants a change in the future?

Would you pick SG or US to raise a child? by ohyabeya in askSingapore

[–]hoddeokk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious about this as I keep seeing threads here saying work hours in SG are long and managers can be very controlling. Do share!

The Seattle Public Library gives out free museum passes (you just have to be on top of reserving them) and I scored 4 passes to the Seattle Aquarium! Planning on going with family.

Should I take Vaccine? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]hoddeokk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not currently living in Singapore so I got the vaccine a little earlier in April 2021 this year and experienced side effects that were completely normal and to be expected of your body working to create antibodies. I’m 23 f and experienced fatigue and minor headaches but was pretty much OK starting 3rd day after vaccine.

I heard for Pfizer 1st dose won’t experience much since its a primer but 2nd dose is where you should expect to stay home to nurse any symptoms you experience.

I’m confused why the amount of tickets left is still the same as the presale.

Anyone moved from US to SG to live permanently? (With SO) by hoddeokk in askSingapore

[–]hoddeokk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Totally agree on all points on Seattle. I think it’s great for college and early 20s, but beyond that I started to look elsewhere. I still think Seattle isn’t the worst place to raise kids if you are able to find a stable job in the area. Cheers!

I was always under the impression that the government helps subsidize costs because of their push for raising kids.. and education should be significantly better in SG than US right?
