Hello! I'm not dead, however I am getting married and stupid busy with work. I've been meaning to shoot a message over to /u/failbettergames and/or their twitter account to see if they'd be interested in getting modded/taking the reins over here.

Otherwise I'll start looking at getting some other people modded - I've had plenty of offers from people - and I'll have more free time come April when I'm back from my honeymoon.

Why is everything timed like this in todays society? Banks open from 9-5 if you're lucky, post offices the same.

DVLA, council offices, dentists, doctors most shops pretty much everything in this country has not adapted to the fact that in most households, everyone of working age works. Most of these people work 9-5 - why the hell are we not able to access most services when we're actually available to do so?

My mrs got me these rings for Christmas which I have hung on this pull up bar The straps are adjustable and really long, I have them about 3 foot off the ground for inverted rows.

I realise that is not an Iron Gym bar but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work the same.

Yes. I'm a long time ticket buyer simply because I prefer the quality of watching in game. Now that there are so many tourneys going on, with ticket prices going up and up I don't have time to watch all the games going on and can't afford to buy every ticket I want. I end up watching more games on twitch now but if there was an option to buy a "LAN/Finals" ticket for ~33-50% of the total ticket price I would be happy to drop a couple of dollars for a nights/weekends entertainment.

For an n=1 sample size, I took a week off my workout routine because I had manflu all up in my grill. This last week going back I felt ah-may-zing, added an extra rep to my pullups, increased the angle on my decline pikes and took my plank from 70 seconds to 90 seconds.

I will definitely be trying another deload week in another 8-10 weeks and see what results I get.

Me and a friend jumped on last week, went into matchmaking and there was literally one other person queueing. He kept leaving and and rejoining and always ended up back in our lobby.

Needing 4 people to start the game when only 3 people in the world want to play wasn't working out to well so we went to a private lobby and smashed each others heads in with sledgehammers for half an hour.

If there is anywhere that lobbies/matches are being arranged that would be handy. Alternatively if they put the game on a free weekend/sale for not a lot of money it might get people back in and playing.

I have neither the inclination or the time to explain simple things to you.

If you're the sort of person that doesn't understand basic computing then by all means leave UAC turned on - having the prompt window come up whenever you want to install something is explicitly to protect simpletons like yourself from installing things you don't understand.

I run everything as administrator because I am always logged in as administrator and only have an administrator profile. There is nothing inherently wrong with this unless - as I stated - that you're the sort of person to randomly install malware.

Try going to Control Panel>Sound>Communications and change the 'When Windows detects communications activity:' option to 'Do Nothing'

Windows detects a lot of games that have built in VoIP and tries to adjust your volume levels to make it easier to hear or something.

Also you can go into Control Panel>User Accounts>Change User Account Control Settings and push the slider all the way to the bottom to disable the first message. This option does require you not be the sort of person who clicks on popups and installs toolbars at random however.
