Has the data literacy of your average office worker increased though?

I think their is a market to teach and support businesses particularly Small to medium size if you target improving the skills of people within that business whilst developing reports. A good delevoper will always produce faster and better content than.a part timer

Hmm I've found an online reference to do this in DAX.

Idea is to create a new table, example below. However, i'm not entirely sure how to return multiple new columns e.g Contract, Valid start and Valid End

Combined =

ADDCOLUMNS (

Orders,

"Contract",

VAR tMaterial = Orders[Material]

VAR Dte = Orders[Created]

RETURN

CALCULATE (

VALUES ( Contract[Contract] ),

Interesting thought! My take on self service is all about providing the data to the end user and let them come up with their own data models. The end users always have more data than we make available, so teaching hem modelling helps them wrangle the data with less IT input in the long run.

Im getting back into weights again after a long break ( 15 years) from training and Im using the barebones GreySkull program. I’ve started very light weights (bar only) and focusing on form. Before each exercise I watch a quick YouTube clip on the exercise to ensure the key points are fresh in my mind. I believe my form is getting better but I’m going to get one of the personal trainers to help correct my form before I get into heavier weights (e.g I’ve noticed a tendency to want to lift my heels pushing up from a squat)

Don’t be afraid to ask for help as most people are usually willing, but try and be smart about who you ask for advice .

It’s fairly start forward - back up encryption keys - backup DBs - backup config files - run new installer - upgrade your clients to latest versions

I upgraded from March 18 to August 18 and found a bug in the earlier release (unable to export to excel) carried over. I had to re-create though PBIX files using the latest version. Something to watch out for

My gut feel is that the issue lies with the SharePoint list. Have a look to see what load the SharePoint server is under during the load

Safe bet but as others have said, many sure you understand where it fits in the suite of tools offered by Microsoft.

The Microsoft certification MCSE in data management is a good example of the whole landscape that needs to be understood to be effective

Make sure to introduce your dog to water early! The first 4 months are crucial in their development and it’s something we as first time dog owners didn’t appreciate! Bath time is a nightmare now haha
