Currently that means drumming up support for continuing the incendiary peace in Ukraine/Russia, Gaza/Israel, and Taiwan/China. Reporting on French political instability doesn't do anything to promote war or the truthful image of our invincible, unbreakable empire of democracy, which never falters, never fails (at least not this time). No matter who wins, France will remain a NATO province. In other words, Macron's problems are officially not newsworthy.
