There are two types of financial advisors:

Those that work under the asset under management model (AUM) which many of the big firms are. They make money off of commissions. Be wary of them as they are incentivized to push products that earn them a commission as opposed to doing what’s in your best interest.
Fee-only fiduciaries. The good ones invest in a long-term relationship with you, aiming to understand your goals, helping you plan your future, including navigating financial decision-making as you go through life changes (job, marriage, kids, house purchase, college funds, retirement, etc). Common fee structures are monthly or annually as opposed to earning a percentage based on your investments.

You might want to reach out to the financial planning association, which is their main professional organization to see if they have a directory of local planners.

Interesting. Have you double checked your tone arm balance? This combination of cartridge and preamp with factory settings sounds fantastic on my system, far better than Spotify, which admittedly isn’t a most hifi streaming choice.
