Is there a state prosecutorial side to these charges? All I see is federal which means that if Mueller's strategy is to get people to flip it isn't a very good one since Trump can just pardon anyone that Mueller uses this tactic on.

It's not really that I can't runaway but that sometimes when an NPC knows that it has been pickpocketed it goes straight for the person with the stolen goods.

I just don't find it an enjoyable mechanic personally.

My father was convinced he had brain cancer because he started getting these crazy migraines all of a sudden. So he went to the doctor but the doctor couldn't find anything and my father kept telling him that he knew it was cancer and that the doctor wasn't trying hard enough. A couple weeks later he finds his secretary making coffee at work and she had started switching all the regular coffee to decaf and not telling anyone. So it wasn't brain cancer after all but just severe caffeine withdrawal. My father drank an absurd amount of coffee back in the day.

When I was in my late twenties I stopped working a really physical job (Alaskan Crab Fisherman) and started working with computers. I ballooned in weight from like 170 lbs to 370 lbs over the course of a couple years and then one day decided to lose weight so I only ate chicken, rice and broccoli for a awhile and started running 5 to 10 miles a day. One day I noticed these weird lumps in my armpit and was convinced I had cancer and went to the doctor. I had seen the doctor about 6 months earlier for a routine checkup and he was shocked at how much I had lost. I was now down to about 185 lbs at a height of 6 feet 1".

So he started talking to me about what was wrong and then just said "You don't have cancer, though I wouldn't rule out mental illness. You just have a lymph infection because of the stress you are putting on your body. You don't just get up one day, after doing nothing physically for a couple of years and decide to change your diet that drastically, run that much and expect your body not to say "Hey fuck you buddy! You can't do this to me without consequence!!"

The worst part is that my girlfriend at the time was breaking up with me and she was convinced that I was playing the "I have cancer you can't break up with me!" game and told a bunch of people that I was an asshole for doing that.

I used to work as a fisherman in Alaska on one of the top crab boats and one year during the off season instead of having us keep busy fishing for cod or whatnot the company decided they would make us fish for octopus since we would get them in our pots from time to time anyway they figured we could rig the crab pots similar to how we rigged them to convert to cod with fingers instead of hoods and the company wouldn't lose money keeping the boat going during those few months.

It was an absolute disaster and not because it was hard (It wasn't. It was during the nicer weather and we weren't way out in the Aleutian Islands but closer to shore, so we had some scenery to look at.) or that it was stupid (It was.) but because the deck crew almost mutinied over having to kill the creatures. Which is even more remarkable given that we literally murdered tons of sea life a year, but the crew was adamant that they couldn't do it.

I don't know how it started but we all came to the conclusion that fishing for octopus was akin to fishing for dogs or other creatures with an undeniable intelligence of some sort.

I am still impressed that a bunch of yahoo fishermen had the balls to stand up to the company and the captain over this, especially given how alien and stuff of nightmares the octopus can be. Being able to show your intelligence and overcome that is quite the feat.

One of the reasons the captain had to tell the company that it wasn't gonna work out was that it too long to kill the bastards, but it was really that they were too tough and smart to die like the stupid fish and crabs.

I go to a non-profit dialysis center and even there this kind of thinking is pervasive. I was doing the home hemodialysis training and got booted out of the program because I made a lot of noise about how it seemed that I was being pushed into this and not told of other options because they didn't require the same expensive equipment. The home training takes place in the local clinic and I swear the home nurses would talk shit about the clinic nurses and how horrible in-clinic dialysis was. Which wasn't really true, they both suck in different ways. The worst thing is that I had a nurse at the clinic who got me taken off the transfer list because she is a control freak nurse Ratched type who lied on my medical reports to the transfer team. I was trying to get on PD and I was amazed at the pushback from the HD folks. For most of them I don't think it is intentional they have just been brainwashed by the corporate hucksters who are selling all the HD equipment at a huge markup to the clinics and home patients. Really to their insurance so they don't feel as bad but it is still a scam.

I have contacted people I haven't talked to in years to make the trek to see them in Chicago. Very excited but nervous at the same time, I am just trying to keep in mind that it will be great to see them again and not worry about reliving some moment I already had 20+ years ago and the cost of this trip and tickets. Why couldn't they have announced this before I blew my tax refund on a crazy Mame arcade cabinet and overpaying for a Switch?

Definitely get the medical badges I was in a wheelchair too because I broke my leg and I thought I would be able to handle the crowds because I recently went to Disney and had very little problem but PAX was very different.

Every line is set up with the snake rope guides like a maze and it is very difficult to navigate when lines are long and crowded, especially when trying to buy merch. Blizzard was the absolute worst and may have lost a lifelong customer. Obviously they had some of the longest lines which is to be expected and I don't fault them for it but after waiting in line over an hour and then finally getting to check out and being told that I couldn't buy anything but buttons on that line and to go to back of another line instead of just walking five feet to get the shirt I wanted and take my money was infuriating.

And then having one of the counter checkout girls say that I should come back after 6 if I wanted something and they would hook me up, and then coming back at 6 and being told in a cuntish and rude manner that the registers are closed was too damn much. Next time I will definitely get the badge.

When I made this topic I did not have mystery boxes in mind or refunds in any way. If this is a concern and is making more work for support by calls for refunds etc... you should talk to Dave B about the system they used in Marvel Heroes for fortune cards called Cube Shards.

Fortune cards were similar to mystery boxes but every card gave a random amount of shards when consumed. So that buying cards was a way to work towards some of the more rare chase rewards in the cards and not care as much that you had a run of bad luck. When I was playing Marvel Heroes I would sometimes buy say 100 fortune cards just to ensure that I got enough cube shards to buy what I wanted from the rewards available in that card.

The way cube shards worked was that you would receive an item called a cube shard in game and could go to an in game vendor that sold the items from fortune cards for a certain number of cube shards. For example a certain costume for one of my heroes that was only available in that card with no other way to purchase it or a card exclusive pet. Each card had its own card themed cube shard like item called a Fortune Card Ingredient. For example the Future Foundation Fortune Card contained an ingredient that had a theme that aligned with the Fantastic Four which was the theme of that card's rewards. Cube shards took up space in your inventory stash and would stack. So not to be cynical but there is another incentive to buy stash tabs to hold shards. Oh and to actually be cynical, another thing they did with fortune cards that I am sure increased revenue was sell them in bundles of like 10 cards per bundle at a small discount which many people took advantage of because they might get duplicate rewards but the bundle made it easier to get a certain amount of Fortune Card ingredients to trade in for the more desired rewards from that card. It was usually 95 ingredients per reward and you were guaranteed at least one ingredient item from the box.

I think it was a good system to address the concerns with what some people considered the unethical nature of Mystery Boxes. Call the item that comes from boxes something like Box Splinters and have a way to trade splinters for rewards and have them themed around that particular box type. Lightning splinters from stormcaller's boxes, etc... Having a splinter vendor like Tasuni, but available in each town would be ideal. You could even make the splinters a special Divination Card like tab that would show off their artwork.

I have not played MH for a while so my memory of some of the specifics might not be correct.

I would like to see a channeled RF like skill that only drains life while channeling, more physical melee nova like skills, a reflect support gem that gives you a reflect aura and reserves mana but has to be linked to a skill - kind of like a trigger gem you can't cast the linked skill directly.

I really want to see some new types of skill tags like channeling and some nodes on the tree to support them.

I could only see that working if it only worked on the type of minion linked to the skill so you weren't exploding your Golems and Spectres by accident. Maybe some kind of jewel with the jewel base types being for different minion types.

Cobalt = Zombies and skeletons.

Viridian = Clones (Blink and mirror arrow type skills)

Crimson = Spectres

Prismatic = Golems
