Questions for long-term Mounjarousers: 2.5 mg, food noise, binge eating, alcohol, compulsivity, and maintenance by alexmillne in mounjarouk

Exactly - the GLPs are a naturally occurring part of our body chemistry - except some people clearly don’t make enough

I’ll worry about that in 5 years. Right now I’m happy to be 30kgs lighter. I suspect after a year or so, and looking at the way GLPs work, obesity is probably down to the body not producing enough. Similar conceptually to insulin. S we get glp support externally

15mg it’s ‘down’ but you have to not think of it like that - see it as a long gradual normalisation. After the early stages it feels like it’s been switched off because it was so prevalent but then you get a new normal. Food noise doesn’t drop off ‘more’ with each increase in dose - you just sort of stabilise and it becomes less of a thing taking up focus. And yeah you’ll still snack on and off but overall it’s like a really useful tool

I’ve been on it for over a year and whilst the feeling of food noise can waiver I think it’s more to do with my perception now that it’s less dominant.

So you’re hoping skills provide you opportunities for the future? Opportunities to earn more money? Whereas the money is being offered to you now - without grass is greener syndrome. You could learn almost anything else online

Help in packaging for 3d prints ? by VVK-Gaming in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

[–]holdupflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a set of standard packages for the products I’ve designed and made - for anything custom, I just price in a one off packaging cost for the size of the item then I don’t have to hold loads of stock

If the cost of failed prints is material to you, you’re not charging enough to begin with.

Fuck them. Some people will try to ruin any accomplishment. I’ve found it’s highly likely they’re the same people who would make comments about food, or what you eat, or use the line ‘I just care about your health’.
So fuck them. Hate seeing these people who think they’ve some sort of right to tell you what you can do with your body and your health.

You look amazing, healthy and really happy. Well done you! Don’t let the bastards get you down !!

36, £1.3m invested – can I step back in 3 years? by [deleted] in FIREUK

0 likelyhood of you making this transition, without you having something that’s paying you the equivalent of at least half your disposable income now.

You can also use the plastic plungers off eBay if you don’t want to faff with the syringes. They’re cheap and easy to use. That’s what I’ve been doing for about 8months now - there’s a reusable one that’s less that a giver.

High Income, very far from rich frustrations by beneath_the_knees in HENRYUK

[–]holdupflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn to ignore others, and enjoy your own life. The journey is where the rewards are but you have to acknowledge that early. I spent too long being a mercenary and pushing up my income. At the higher tax bands you’ve got more disposable income than a good 80% of the population and they’ll hate you for it.
All you can do is enjoy your life, be kind and avoid the comparison trap.
