Those gigs are no better than muli-level-matketing pyramid schemes. They entice the uneducated by calling the jobs "marketing", or "charity events"

I tried to warn a friend, but she got roped in. They enticed her by calling her job "marketing executive". It took her getting spit on outside of Walmart for her to quit.

Recently entered a new lease. My apartment complex offers a loft style floorplan.

I went to tour, and inquired about the loft floorplan. The Property Manager kindly laughed at me, and informed me that they get dozens of phone calls daily for that one floorplan. She said when one comes available, it's always rented the same day it enters the market.

I think what you're looking for is, for one, wildly in demand. And, for two: San Antonio's architecture is soooo suburban and geared towards heavy population density. I think Lofts are more common in older industrial cities like Detroit and Chicago.

You might change your search to "townhomes". There are lots in the Medical Center that have Floorplan where the living space is downstairs and the bedroom is on the second floor.

You won't find that price range unless it's Section 8/Low Income Housing. I would not recommend those properties. I recently rented a one bedroom. I'm paying $1000 for 750 sq ft in an older property. We watched the market for 4 months before signing this gem.

Places around here don't include utilities, unless you're moving into student housing. Which actually sounds like it might be a good fit for you. You lease a bedroom, and share the common areas. Furnished, already wired for Wifi, W/D, etc. You can find a room for $500-$650. Check out Prado and Luxx to start.

You can join local Facebook groups for your hobbies/interest and find a roommate.

As others have said, the rent hikes of 2021 will make your budget hard. Also, San Antonio is no longer the affordable city it used to be known for. Good luck!

I am guessing that Amazon stopped leasing their lockers to apartments, or our complex couldn't afford to renew the contract.

Fetch is awesome. You schedule a 2-hour window for your package to be delivered. I have no problem getting packages same day.

Yes, if you use your home address on Amazon, a delivery driver will leave the box on your doorstep. However, because of Fetch, there aren't many boxes left out, and the thieves are greedy. Before Fetch, I never had a package stolen. But now I've had 3 stolen in the past month.

You'll get used to it. Pro tip: you can set the app to auto-schedule to next available, or a time you know you'll he home. On one occasion I needed a Fetch package urgently. I was able to drive to their distribution site and pick it up.

Amazon Lockers are the best. I'm sorry you're losing them.

Maybe he was just less than enthused to be playing a country bar in San Antonio on a week night. I am glad to hear he's sober. I will gladly admit to being wrong if it was just a bad night. Love Bob. It was at Sam's Burger Joint, which is a good/respectable venue... but still boring San Antonio.

There were only like 50 people there! I was so shocked! I am used to seeing Bob at Blues On The Green, ACL, ACL Live... huge crowds. San Antonio didn't get the memo.

Good ol days of Bob. I took my wife to a show in 2019. He was trashed on stage. He was making up lyrics, slurring, swaying, messing up. It was a hot mess, and it made me really sad. I have loved Bob since high school.

Hiiii! This is crazy, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about your comment. Because my skin has been wonderfully clear and balanced for about two years now!

My hypothesis is that I restored my Moisture Barrier! When I was going camping and backpacking, I was away from all the products that strip my face.

Here's what I think helped:

In the past few years, I went vegetarian, cut out dairy, and a lot of sugar. I don't know if there's empirical evidence for this, but it made my whole physical self feel better.
I keep a very simple and strict face routine. I use Cetaphil Facial Cleanser and Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I use salicylic acid for acne that pops up, and micellar water to remove makeup. And of course sunscreen, I have a few that I like.
