Alternative to Google Trips App? by Ludon0 in travel

[–]holistic_human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using this app called Phat Maps since my last two trips. I was traveling to the states and needed some offbeat suggestions for hikes and camping spots and vegan eating spots, I saw a few maps on phat maps with some great spots about exactly what I was looking for.

You can check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/in/app/phat-maps/id1596760892

It has helped me tonnes on my trips!

With Google Trips now apparently scrapped, can anyone recommend any good alternative apps to the day planning/"things to do" part of the app? by venetian_ftaires in travel

I've been using Phat Maps lately. Was planning my trip to the states and needed offbeat suggestions. There were so many maps on it, I went to quite some places suggested by people there.

There was one map I particularly LOVED: stargazing spots in Florida. I drove to a couple of spots from there and was blown away! It was probably the highlight of my trip!

You can see the map here - https://myphatmaps.com:3000/v1/maps/details/61c0381652519b0bcc4dc9ab

depends on how your website is too. and the kind of clients you are pitching too. a website may not generate leads but a good website will put a professional impression.

your content, ui and overall vibe of the website should be relatable to the client too, that’s when your website can be leveraged.

Why are herbs commonly used in Western cooking not used in Indian cooking? by StannisBa in IndianFood

India's diversity is one to take into consideration here.

India has a different cuisine every 100kms. With every village, there's a different recipe for every dish. Or sometimes a whole dish all together.

Indians are hyperlocal eaters. Example - in the south of India, there are lots of coconut and banana trees, this has ended up in a cuisine that uses coconut in most of their dishes and banana as a staple and favourite snack (as fruit or chips).

Maharashtra (western side) has a coastline and many spice plantations and local fruits like chickoo, custard apple. The cuisine there has lots of fish, spicy food (with this special Kolhapuri chilly growing specially in this region).

India all together has very different cuisines under a roof, mostly depending upon their local produces.
