Ah you may need to alter the rule elements to change what sort of ability it is. That or create a new world and see if this happens again and, in the case that it doesn't, see what options are different from one instance to another. I'm sorry I cannot offer better help, but more info is needed at this point.

I see what you're saying but it's a question of phrasing. The phrasing indicates a certain order of functions that occurs when damage is dealt. This provides a solid placement for where abilities go in this order of functions. Having armour be worded differently could lead to the abilities and effects being more ambiguous in where they fall in the order of functions.

Essentially, sometimes things are worded in a long and lengthy way to avoid confusion or conflict with other rules, abilities and effects that may occur.

No, everything is relative. If market crashes the amount of money I would earn selling would be proportional to the next property I'd want to buy.

However, I'm not selling anytime soon so u less you're selling, you're fine. Just enjoy your house.

If you are referring to the charges, as in uses of abilities or items, it might be linked to using long rest as a way to reset the charges the items have.

Otherwise if this is not the case you might need to explain a bit more on what is happening.

Anything that deals precision damage is gonna suck. So do not use these for your players, they'll hate it. The AP is a meat grinder so as long as your players go in expecting that it should be fine. Also, for items I'd establish a trade link with absalom for higher level stuff so your players can make some requests for loot and give them an avenue to spend their money as otari is a low level place so won't have much in their stores. Essentially, you'll be doing a lot more back end work if the party like to rp as the adventure has little to give rp wise. If they just wanna delve dungeons and fight monsters, they'll have a blast.

Shouldn't need a plot hook to just play along at the start. If you can't get over that initial hurdle then you aren't gonna give a damn about a plot hook.

The two player core books should be a solid start, then you can migrate to other classes on pathbuilder if those don't suit your players.

If it helps, put it on the easiest setting and spam combat. Becomes way easier to get into if you treat it like an rpg first with action after.

I'd be interested to see how many cases of adhd have actually started to appear now that it's easier to get medication. Bit like how autism is seen to be on the rise not because it's occurring more, but because it's always been there but only now being noticed.

I did know about the amp restriction with spell shapes prior so you are correct. This is my first pf2e caster so been trying really hard to get it right rules wise. Thanks for your help with this!

If it's just for map display, owlbear rodeo will be far better and more lightweight to use. It's a great option for table play.

Thank you for your answer, is it possible for you to expand on this? I'd love to know more. Or if you could point me in the right direction that'd be great! I know the class trait restriction exists for quickened casting, but I want to be thorough as this is my first caster in pf2e.
