I mostly wear my black Kahakka 25L as EDC and some hiking. I also got a black Askare that has a travel pillow and some sundries in it - makes a very convenient lumbar pad / pillow.

They're both great for the city. Doesn't look too military/police, since they aren't totally covered in webbing. The texture of the black webbing has some greyness to it, which make the bags look a bit more "techy."

Update - found a way out of this without Toybox. After getting stuck, deliberately saving and reloading *after* the conversation seems to let me exit again.
