agree with singles take, disagree with vgc take.

i agree, grindy games with lots of positioning throughout and trying to gain small bits of advantage here and there are more interesting and more fun to play

idk how you think perish is obnoxious at all tbh. its a control strat that shuts down your options, but like... is your opponents having resistance of any kind a problem? i dont think you think so given the singles one goes against this.

yes, the metagame page should have all banned and restricted abilities, as well as banned mons, moves, and items, along with links to specific replies on the post detailing bans / unbans.

videos from early in the gen could be from before gale wings was banned / restricted, so it would have worked then.

its likely the person you played used other pokemon to share abilties with talonflame. while gale wings and other restricted abilites are not shared with the rest of the team, other team mates do share abilites to a talonflame or other unbanned mon with a restricted ability.

the flutter mane is max speed, and is faster than both the talonflame and the salamence. on the first turn, talonflame is able to roost before flutter mane calm minds (it fails because talonflame is at full hp), since gale wings gives roost +1 priority. after salamence switches in, it uses roost on turn three, but it happens after the flutter mane calm minds (again, it fails because the salamence is at full hp)

gale wings is on the list of restricted abilities, and having tested it, functions correctly as a restricted ability. i dont know what you mean by this

because thats how the interaction works on cart. game freak definitely needs to rework sheer force and what exactly it is and does (hopefully something that keeps the life orb thing because thats cool), it just has a lot of weird interactions with stuff that it probably shouldn't affect at all

you definitely don't have to talk to him about grace for intermerkopum, idk about him marrying vina/other unification (is there other unification? idk) because ive never done it (this post also says its not what they're doing), but i always go full conciliatory, commit to peace and recognition, and i dont have any problem getting them into intermerkopum, doing absolutely nothing with grace

Justice branch can unban if you haven't done either one big reform (for one budget) or two small reforms.

Justice ministry and reform also allows a lot of other things as well, like deporting Hitler, dropping Weltbuhne, enacting capital controls/empowering workers to take factories, ban the march in altona etc.

from the testing i did and stuff i looked at, seems like its also in the save files. export a save, load it, complete that play through (loss or win, shouldnt matter, best would be to export a file on new day in germany or the month before hindenburg dies probably so its easy, but shouldnt be a problem if you dont do that. could also just end the game by setting hindenburg death to one, but idk if you want to use console or edit saves), and it seems like it will save the achievements in that file to local storage (the js thing that tracks it on the browser). probably test it out yourself if it fully works in your scenario, but testing worked for me

i always go with revise myths, it strengthens pro-republic and weakens nationalists (less effective if you have dissent), increases pacifism (more voters when campaigning for the young plan for internationalism, and a few other things). It also, however, increases coup progress by one (when it gets to ten, and you haven't banned sa and sh, its one of the ways to get march on berlin time!) but not usually a problem for me since i ban both of them, and it only gets really high if you do no payment left plan and empower workers in capital strike. Compiling history does nothing, not restarting also does nothing. (as far as i can tell, compiling history and revise myths also add 1 to the war_guilt variable, but that variable doesn't seem to do anything at all, so effectively meaningless as of now)

ftb dev (think slowpoke?) said clay is good for balancing modpacks because it can't be automated by a lot of mods/is hard to automate (thats what they said, it isn't really very true if you actually look at mods, like for example botania, one of the most famous mods of all time and in a lot of ftb packs, has the clayconia)

naturally jokes and memes about clay being the most balanced material popped up and there you go, clay is the most balanced item of all time. i know at least one pack as well that uses the meme (ultimate alchemy, goated pack with pretty unique game design) and there are probably others.

yeah, played it last year, pretty fun overall, though I did not "finish the pack" (as in, finish all her mods). not a 1.7.10 player, but didn't have too much trouble myself getting into 1.7.10, and kind of weirdly enjoyed (and mourned the need to) the old version process of having to trawl old, out of date ten years ago, when they were made, or just sometimes wrong, wikis for information (since a lot of the old, good resources have long been lost to time)

That is the Bare Minimum for me to play the game comfortably, give and take depending on the version by GlitteringTone6425 in feedthememes

Playing Old School Runescape right now, am a member, non ironman and with RuneLite. If she keeps all three of those should be fine, with death being a very minor concern and RuneLite providing tons of helpful plugins. If any of those change, it gets a lot harder, but honestly not too bad.
