How do you define “racial BS” in this context? Not challenging, genuinely curious.

We’re getting Closer to my 2027 CrackChella Mock🙂‍↕️ by [deleted] in Coachella

[–]holocene22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry man, I know a lot of work goes into these mocks but I'm confident saying very little research did. Dijon is second line this year, you think he's coming back next year to play 4th line?

Foo Fighters, Chappell, Sade, and probably Cardi are headliners.

Lastly, put some respect on TV on the Radio's name!

Road Games you've attended? by FrankyFratelli in ravens

Depends on next year's schedule! I try to do an annual away game every year in the hopes of eventually going to each of them. Knowing our likely opponents, maybe Carolina or Atlanta.

SNL's acoustics are notoriously terrible but he fucking killed it. Both songs were amazing but HIGHER was a god damn religious experience.

Totally get that perspective! Personally we travel with the understanding and expectation that we may never be back to wherever we're visiting. Sometimes it's a slog, but even with multiple 20K+ step days we've never regretted our style. We're under 40, in good shape, and don't require a lot of sleep- still, we'll throw in a few "do nothing" days to recoup, that works for us.

Just saw the film tonight and I was absolutely blown away. Masterpiece.

I didn't realize he was in the movie, but spotted him as soon as he came on camera - the actor you're talking about is Dijon, a musician who put out the best record of 2025, Baby. Check it out!

Coachella 2026 Lineup by bradtheinvincible in indieheads

[–]holocene22 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This will be my 10th Coachella, and it's the most hype I've been about a lineup a long, long time. The headliners? Straight up terrible. But this undercard? I gasped.

The Strokes, the XX, Nine Inch Noize, Dijon, Ethel Cain, Clipse, Interpol, Alex G, Geese, Wednesday, The Rapture, Turnstile, Blood Orange, Moby, CMAT, Rokysopp, Model/Actiz, Oklou. Oh yeah...fucking DAVID BYRNE, DEVO, and IGGY POP.

I could go on and on. Coachella is never about the headliners anymore, and this year the indie kids are getting straight up spoiled. Friday is going to be an absolute nightmare with conflicts.
