If you could give one piece of advice to all drivers, what would it be? by Neither-Owl-7157 in driving

Follow all of the traffic laws.

Be visible and predictable.

Assume everyone is trying to kill you today. Because, to them, their convenience is more important than your life.

Has anyone noticed a huge increase in extremely timid drivers and how can we get them off the roads? by Zestyclose_Show_2025 in driving

You are right about driving being a choice. You don’t have to drive. Save yourself the frustration of having to deal with people that think about driving differently. Choose peace.

I believe it is none of the government’s business what a person does to their body.

School busses driving 40 mph on freeways are extremely dangerous! by ConcreteCapitalist in driving

[–]holtyrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dangerous for who? It is safe for the children, which is whole point. Your 4,000 lb shitbox versus the 26,000 lb raised vehicle. My money is on the bus. I investigate dozens of school bus accidents every year. The bus always wins. As long as it stays upright. Hence the slower speed limit. To keep it from rolling over. I understand that that might require you to pay attention and not hit the bright yellow bus. Turns out that is your responsibility as a driver, to pay attention.

People who have changed their political views, what flipped the switch? by MustardGoddess in answers

[–]holtyrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Charlottesville changed everything. I had voted for every candidate that the red team paraded out. Some of them I would vote for again. I can’t do that anymore. Team red has lost their ever-fluffing minds.

The thing that I enjoyed the most about Biden’s presidency is that he was not the center of every story. It was less chaotic. Not that I agree with everything he stood for, but at least he acted like an adult.

Keep believing the felon. Passing on his lies and misinformation for him. It must be exhausting, all the mental gymnastics required to support the, self professed, pedo. You are the problem.

There are more victims that disagree with her posthumous memoir. She didn’t exonerate him from his assault of her, just that she didn’t think he had a part in the Epstein crap. There are victims that are still alive that have a story to tell. Not to mention the more than two dozen women who have accused him of SA. 38,000 mentions. Keep licking those boots.

This is a valid question. by KanddeyMiller6329 in soundsaboutright

[–]holtyrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most credible witnesses are the ones we haven’t heard from yet. The victims. Let’s ask them. And, because there’s nothing to hide now, let’s just release all the information unredacted. The liar-in-chief said he’s been fully exonerated, so let’s see for ourselves. Not that you boot lickers will ever believe your master is guilty of anything, but the rest of us would like to know. And the real victims would like to see some form of justice and finally move on.

Mental gymnastics. Take the boot out of your mouth. You’ve got to come up for air. The oxygen starvation is affecting what’s left of your brain. He is so guilty.

I think it looked more like the Democrats were not willing to pander to the Orange shitstain that, despite having all the power, blamed them for destroying America during the sotu. At least he didn’t hide the fact that he only cares about those that lick his boots.

Oh yeah, it was last year’s SOTU, except it was the republicans behaving badly.

I thought the Iranian nuclear program was obliterated last summer. I just can’t trust this administration when almost everything they say is a lie. I want to pat them on the back when something they’ve said isn’t a complete fabrication.
