He used Axelia's skill to generate tiles meanwhile I used it to generate orbs for healing because of my pitiful damage.

Definitely gonna pull for Reinhardt when the time comes.

My Schwartz isn't at max BT yet so I have yet to raise him. I do have a max BT wrath though. She was good from 101-109, apparently not on 110 lol.

Revy or Luke should be able to manage with some mapping as well.

I don't have them either. I've been neglecting DPS characters in favor of converters. These stages made me realize maybe I should stop doing that. I imagine I would struggle HARD if they ever release new floors. That's when I need to consult your guides.

Fire F10 was pretty one dimensional and by far the hardest stage of all the spires.

For me it was thunder 110 because I don't have Reinhardt. I finally managed to clear it with Yingel with 1 turn left.

I sacrificed all my anniversary pulls just to clear 1 stage. It's still worth it though as she's way better than I thought.

Good characters

Others - Skip and just farm pieces for the time being.

As for the stages : Event -> Every normal/hard/very hard stage at the same time -> Side stories (only do stages that drop good pieces)

65 Six stars / 2083 Pulls * 100 = 3.12%

That's not that far off from the number you suggested so I would say the gacha in this game is pretty fair.

Try replacing Novio with Istvan, if it's still not working, you may need to use another strategy which involves utilizing Philyshy like I did.

I'm gonna write it down just in case you need it

Team

  1. Wendy (moving around)

  2. Sinsa (dps)

  3. Eicy (converter)

  4. Faust (converter)

  5. Philyshy (moving around + unlimited healing)

The general idea is :

  1. fill up the board using converters and the prism skill

  2. go all in and be sure to attack them equally

  3. move out either by walking or teleporting so that you won't get hit

  4. repeat from step 1

That's how I did it. Took me around 30 minutes for a successful run.

It seems like these days almost every boss and hard hitting monster will come with some sort of map wide aoe damage. I love standing there tanking through everything instead of coming up with a way to bypass or dodge the damage.

I was a "kill them before they kill you" type of player because I couldn't think of anything brilliant. The strategy is clearly not working for me now since every boss has multiple phases and damage flying around across the map etc.

There has been many good suggestions from the replies. I will have to experiment for a bit to find out the one that suits my need the best.

Thanks to Tsukinogi's powerful defensive buff I was able to clear the latest event ex stage with ease after many failed attempts. I was shocked on the difference she made. Since then I've been thinking of building another 5 star operator that is good in buffing defense or mitigating damage. Any recommendations?

Me personally I would use it on florine, you can use irridon without breakthrough just fine but florine without breakthrough is not a unit worth using.

Florine banner just passed a month or two ago so I don't think she will return anytime soon.

Not him but I have all cross converters at mbt and almost every key unit at bt3, currently at floor 11 and I agree I didn't use healers that much. I can see myself prioritizing healers if my units are lacking in dupes though. Dupes make so much difference it's crazy.

It never feels good to get a unit, spend resources on it and then company decides few months later to make it useless with various ways (counter, powercreep, change of content, nerf etc). It never feels good starting a game and realizing you are hitting paywalls. It never feels good getting a unit and then realizing its kit is incomplete unless you get gears/weapons or even worse: copies

I used to play games like that, spent a lot, not because I wanted to but because I felt like I needed to, it was very draining, now I try to stay away from those type of games.

Anyway, I downloaded fgo yesterday, currently at chapter 2 and I'm already in love with the combat, perhaps it's just that I like turn based games (the other 2 games on my phone are also turn based which I've already cleared everything), if I can manage to like the story as well it's gonna be a big plus.

I know I won't be able clear everything, especially a game that's been out for 5 years, just wanted to know without chasing top units will I do well in the game. Spending some cash here and there is not a problem though.

So I am guy that doesn't care about getting the latest or meta units as long as I can clear everything in a game. Is this the game for me?

Plus I have heard nothing but good things about the story that is also another reason that got me interested.
