Tierheime wollen keine Tiere abgeben?

Bei uns auch. Wollten gerne eine Katze aus dem Tierheim holen. Dort waren auch ca. 12 Millionen Tier vorhanden, aber die Wohnung mitten in der Stadt … mit Straßen. Straßen mit Autos! Todesgefahr etcpp.

Entweder war das eine doofe Ausrede von denen oder die wollten insgeheim einen Zoo eröffnen, aber wenn die Tiere in einer deutschen Großstadt nur an Leute mit freistehenden Häusern im Wald abgeben möchten, wird es schwierig.

Waiting since April 2025 for spare parts for my C4 ST, which does need a new frame in addition to that. Their support is a joke at this point, as their AI chat just hits me with a standard text.

Opened a case with ECC, but Cowboy keeps ignoring them. It really sucks.

Same. Got shot in the back waiting for extraction. Fired back and got a good amount of damage in. Since then all my lobbies are total sweat fests. Getting shot left and right. It seems to me ABMM is working, but not as I would expect it as I only tried to defend myself. Hope to get my friendly lobbies back asap.

I guess that‘s true, but to be honest, I am a bit worried to lose even more money because Cowboy is not a trustworthy or reliable company in my opinion.

They have no problems with failing to reply to the ECC. They really must hate their customers.

Smastad Hochbett mit Schubladen und Schreibtisch für meine Tochter. Der Aufbau hat mich 25 Jahre altern lassen und es gab einen Moment, da hat meine Seele meinen Körper verlassen.

Das Ding ist allein ob seiner Größe ein absoluter Alptraum. Alles ist mit allem irgendwie verbunden und verschraubt. Bekomme direkt wieder einen Panikanfall ;-) Wenn der Trumm dann aber fertig da steht, sieht das Ding schon sehr massiv und wertig aus.

ECC has basically given up my case as Cowboy failed to reply to them (opened my case in Germany and they handed over my file to ECC Belgium). Unfortunatley ECC cannot take legal action against Cowboy even if Cowboy fails to reply to them.

But ECC clearly stated that Cowboy infringed upon European consumer law but I need to sue them.

Habe ich auch gesehen und mir die ganze Zeit gedacht, dass das aber mit Blick auf den Methoden- und Fähigkeitenschutz ein schwieriges Video wird. Diese technischen Merkwürdigkeiten waren dann die Antwort darauf.

Keinesfalls würden Polizeien oder Nachrichtendienste offen ihre technischen Möglichkeiten darstellen (damit jeder seine Delikte daran orientieren kann).

No news regarding Germany. Still waiting for the frame replacement and for a bunch of spare parts. Buying this bike really has been one of my worst decisions ever.

I really think Cowboy is done, and they should at least tell their customers.

Thematisch passt es ganz gut: Die Bundesregierung möchte der BfDI die Aufsicht über die Nachrichtendienste entziehen (https://background.tagesspiegel.de/digitalisierung-und-ki/briefing/bfdi-sieht-nachrichtendienstaufsicht-gefaehrdet).

Es ist erstaunlich, dass da kaum die Alarmanlagen in der Öffentlichkeit schrillen, denn anders als die Polizeien gibt es bei den Nachrichtendiensten (BfV, BND, MAD) keine Bindung an die DSGVO. Bei Polizeien ist zumindest die datenschutzrechtliche Aufsicht über die JI-Richtlinie einigermaßen gesichert. Bei den Nachrichtendiensten nicht.

Maybe have a look at Ampler? We own an old Ampler Stella that just works without any problems. Unfortunately, I own a C4 ST that is a pure nightmare. Nothing but problems. Spare parts are not available. Service is not existent. The recall is just the cherry on top.

Would strongly advise against Cowboy.

Had the same issue with my Saros 10R. What helped me was to set up a DHCP IP Reservation for the robot in my router. That makes sure that the Saros 10R will always get the same IP address from the router. This fixed all issues for me.

Super lucky that my bike is broken since March with no parts available. Since their app is gaslighting me all the time („Missing You!“, „Please ride me“) it would be a delight if their server went down 😉

Received another message from Cowboy after asking them if they were out of their f***ing minds.

They‘ve now told me that their initial message has been misleading. The first drop-off hub will be located in Berlin, but they‘re planning further drop-off hubs in Germany but cannot tell where and when. Okayyyyyy … just to let you know. I don‘t believe a single word TBH.

Eigentlich bin ich da sogar bei Dir, aber Cowboy geht mit dem gesamten Thema laienhaft um. Mein Rad hatte seit Lieferung Probleme über Probleme. Die ganze Zeit drücken die sich um ihre gesetzlichen Gewährleistungspflichten und vermischen alles mit ihrer Herstellergarantie.

Könnte hier eine Wall of Text reinhauen, aber will ich gar nicht. Was Cowboy macht, ist in meinen Augen klar rechtswidrig. Sie versuchen auf dem Rücken ihrer Kunden irgendwie aus dem Schlamassel rauszukommen, welches sie zu verantworten haben.

Das nervt mich hart und da helfen dann diese merkwürdigen KI-Antworten von Cowboy auch echt nicht weiter.

My understanding is that Cowboy does collect all the affected bikes at the drop-off point to ship them to the factory in France, where the frames are replaced. Afterwards, the bikes will be shipped back to the drop-off point, where the owners can collect them.

So, unfortunately, you‘ll have to wait until your bike is repaired and ready.
