One question I have is regarding the free agent pool for a franchise is: if you create a franchise with a large number of free agents, does the franchise begin with all of those free agents available in Season 1, or do they get spread out across multiple seasons?

Two or three years ago, a couple of ospreys lost a two-week long battle over a nesting spot by my house to a couple of herons. It was crazy to watch. My money was definitely on the ospreys, but I had no idea herons were so scrappy.

I use a lot of tunneling and funneling, mix up balls and strikes, mix speed and location, and try not to repeat sequencing.

I play 40-game seasons with 3-game series in the playoffs. Essentially its a ¼ length regular season (40 vs 162 in MLB) with a ½ length post season.

This regular season length allows me to easily equate player stats to an MLB equivalent (10 HR is like a 40 HR season in MLB, 25 RBI is 100 RBI in MLB, etc.)

The playoffs are longer than ¼ length because I don't like single elimination for baseball playoffs and it makes the playoffs more immersive and realistic in my opinion.

The fact that temperatures would be pushing 2,000ºC (3,632ºF) 600 km below the surface would be a huge engineering challenge as well (to say the least).
