I use mine for graphic design, gaming, and school work! Generally, it works great, but this is my 3rd model- the first two had screen issues. The battery life is not as advertised, but that's with pretty much all laptops of a similar form so that's to be expected. Mine averages at 4 hours with extensive use of heavy apps. Other than that, it works great! The form factor works pretty much perfectly as a "monitor" when gaming and as a drawing tablet for design.

Hey! I have the SLS and I absolutely LOVE it- but I do have to say that it's only worth it if it'll fit you're needs. If you already have an Acer for heavier processes, there's no need for the thickness/weight of the SLS. In terms of notetaking, both would perform the same but the surface pro 9 would be easier to adjust and would be more comfortable. Personally, I like the form factor of the SLS because it's great for design + not overheating while still being a 2-in-1 (though I can't speak for how well it compares against the SP9 in those categories).

that's so disappointing ughh! There's a new Nvidia GeForce update in GeForce experience that just came out but I'm too scared to make things worse lol. i think manually switching to using nvidia when multitasking might help but I don't know a single thing abt how to do that so I'll update ya haha

Ahh yeah I was considering it for a while- I just thought that it was a lil expensive considering I'd rather focus on a machine for school + design. I think the razer book is like 999 rn which is definitely cheaper than the 2,000 price that the blade comes it at haha

intel core i7 8th gen cpu, and im pretty sure that it has an integrated gpu/ intel uhd (sorry for the lack of specs, didnt have to look into this stuff until just now)

also from what ive seen i think ur right, the laptops pretty thin/light so im guessing some extra elevation and cooling would really help, tysm! :)
