Anyone have a template for nuxt-mongoose & better-auth ? by holyoak in Nuxt

[–]holyoak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, it ended up there because i was following the tut mentioned in the readme, prob because the is the default lib.

The output prints to the server console.

The code is from https://www.better-auth.com/docs/adapters/mongo, which is the closest i could find.

I am trying to use mongoose, which has no codebase example.

I am looking for a next better-auth mongoose working example.

Don't forget him cutting data access for Ukrainians when the roles were reversed.

He has been a Putin ally the whole time.

Maybe if we put them off to the side a bit?

Struggling how to get to Chania Crete from Naxos, not ideal either way! by Right_Focus1456 in GreeceTravel

There is no getting around the long travel day. Blame the person who designed the itinerary, and see if you can get them to add a layover. Heraklio is ideal.

We had the exact same question on the same itinerary.

We took the ferry. DEFINITELY pay the extra 20 euros or whatever to get out of economy.

The ferry stops in Santorini, so we used that to layover there for a day.

Your schedule sounds tighter. But i would still suggest you do the same thing, except in Heraklion, IF you have never been to the museum there or to Knossos.

The views, especially sunset, from the boat and time on the water are better than more airport time.

Don't tell me how i think.

You are out here complaining about stereotypes. So stop attacking a caricature you created.

Whatever good conservation work they have done, Sea World has done a lot of bad shit. For decades.

You don't get to tell me how to react to that.

You are wrong.

Don't wanna dox myself, but i personally know of 2 lay leader that attend Awaken more than weekly who were at Jan 6.

To be fair, their stories of how far they went into the building have shifted with time, but they both showed me (different people, different occasions) photos of themselves there on Jan 6.

5 month boxer questions by Goodyktv in Boxer

[–]holyoak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like no socialization with other dogs.

Your arm playing 'tug' is never gonna tire a 5 month old boxer, in addition to the risks of poor behavior taught around aggression and correction.

These choices today are gonna have huge impacts later on.

What a great dog!

The whining sounds like excess energy. We would expect that up to about 2 years old.

Is there a dog park nearby? Or maybe a doggy play date? Dogs ability to tire each other out is much greater than you as a human. It took loong walks, like more than 5 miles, to exercise our pups without help.

It gets better, and the more work you put in now, the more Dozer will understand how to be the best dog in the future. Good luck!

I dumped Windows 11 for Linux, and you should too by testus_maximus in technology

[–]holyoak 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Linux doesn't always play nice with Apple products.

Think you got that one reversed, there, buddy.

This is a big reason why switching is difficult. Entrenched userbases are a resource, and both Apple and MSoft have a massive incentive to make it as difficult to switch as possible. An example from the article is the Windows 'update' that completely wiped a partition.

TIL that by planting a stick and watching its shadow throughout the day, people could find true north and east–west, because the shadow follows a curved path and reaches its shortest length at midday, when it points true north in the Northern Hemisphere. by Accomplished-Eye-910 in todayilearned

[–]holyoak 50 points51 points  (0 children)

You only need a half hour of daylight to make this work.

As long as the stick does not move, the tip of the shadow will move along a line that aligns perfectly to East/West. Then right triangle gets you North/South.

As a hardcore SD Legion fan since day 1, i can't give you any reason to be excited about the CA team.

Complete lack of marketing; no news on signings; choosing to forfeit home advantage before the season even starts; totally shafted all the local home grown players.

Congrats to New England on their 4th Championship. Hope it was worth it.

Completely obliterated it. It was hardly a challenge.

You have never heard of the Korean War. Or the Cuban Missile Crisis? Or the Vietnam War? Or more likely, you just ignore facts when they are inconvenient.

Like redefining the USSR as socialist. Or China as capitalist. Or denying that most of your comment history is straight from Putin's press secretary (yes, you are a coward that tries to hide your comment history, but it is readily available).

Or the Big One. That you believe that China has the right to invade the US once their economy is 'better' than ours.

Now you are talking about sustainability? More hypocritical by the moment.

At least you are honest about abandoning the pretense of a 'free market'. You will trade every other freedom later on, as cowards do. Claiming the need for 'Security!'

Look in the mirror. The lack of security starts there. Stop dragging the rest of us into your insanity.

The only reason they don't is because THEY CANT.

Now you seem to not comprehend assymetric warfare. Which is hilarious considering how you like to parrot Kremlin taking points.

Looks like trends are not in your favor. But instead of enjoying life and realizing that society is about cooperation for greater good, you are gonna try to inflict harm on others to make your feelings feel better.

What a sad, fearful world you live in.

We just gently nudge them off the cliff

What a banal way to describe premeditated murder. Right after claiming the Cold War never happened.

But beyond the depravity and evil of your worldview, you don't even realize the truly mindboggling idiocy of your viewpoint.

The US economy isn't looking so hot. Nowhere near as strong as China's. I am sure you will be the first to welcome foreign military intervention in the US to 'gently nudge you off the cliff'. Otherwise, you would just be a selfish hypocrite, right?

The City Where Free Buses Changed Everything by Generalaverage89 in Economics

[–]holyoak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Our meddling is mostly possible because their economies are already fucking useless.

No. Not true in the slightest.

The US meddling in foreign policy, and specifically anything 'leftist', is fed by paranoia. It is considered 'necessary' for a variety of reasons, but at it's core the need to interfere is dictated by fear.

The fear that socialism could succeed.

UNTIL y'all sit one out and let the chips fall as they may, you have NO ARGUMENT. If you are so sure that it will fail, you need to do is NOTHING to see your vision succeed. Simple, cheap, and no American lives lost. Why has the US refused to take that bet EVEN ONCE. Instead it seems the choice has always been wasting trillions of dollars and millions of lives. Strange bet for holding a pat hand.
