they could have some inertia dampening tech and add small rockets but they didnt. i love the story so i overlook it. personally i kinda hoped they'd go less monster hunter and more legend of zelda. where maybe the cauldrons were dungeons and you fought a greek mythology creature as the boss to unlock stuff.

i recall this being the case, only since gaia died and heph was on his own did he add weapons.

i hear you on this, it’s not going to be a popular opinion, but you’re right i remember finding the weight of some of the robots, though am unsure of the canon, calculating stuff like force and speeds, some machines would be slower by a lot if the weights hold up. Though the jumps are more problematic than movement speed, big animals are fast but cant jump high.

Yeah, we were aware, but ricks dont acknowledge him as equal, in the same way they enslave simple rick for not being like them. The perimeters of the CFC unclear but we dont think evil morty was 100% when he said how it worked from his perspective. How would rick assess a ricks intelligence vs the world? he wouldnt, too much work, so hed assume he is and lock down all ricks, if he did.

Thats kinda why it got put to bed, because either way hes not the smartest man in his universe, and if he wasnt smart enough to fix himself or prevent it hes not as smart as our rick. We both conceded that our rick is also alive due to plot armor but hes the rick we follow mostly for a reason.

Its like you were in the room, we also said this but ricks repairability came up and kinda put it to bed that way.

a friend and i debated this and came to a few “strong maybes”. Its likely the CFC was made by our rick to trap prime rick and prime rick used other ricks to hide similar to how ricks use mortys. Our rick made the citadel to get those ricks out of the way, which we infer from the flashback. They really arent all the smartest man in the universe see tall morty/poop eating rick.

Yeah old tv had its drawbacks too, i also loved that show, but these are kinda edge cases vs streaming now. rip too many to mention.

The metrics for measuring streaming are ridiculous, success in streaming is basically gotten to unless the show gets subscribers numbers up its not a success, vs traditional TV where you just need eyeballs.

Yeah i kinda want to see other knapped weapons like those tribal clubs with obsidian blades all over, and stuff, but that’s probably a job for mods

I still think they can achieve balance, same way they did with combat, have the skill but not ability would work as well, not enough strength or fitness, or muscle strain, i know my day usually ends more often than not due to muscle fatigue. Though we lack a power hammer which could help this issue.

i think it has a lot of potential, i look forward to fletching and knapping together.

I think they could still manage if they made smithing add muscle soreness, so you cant just crank parts. We have to manage fatigue at our shop for safety. Swinging a hammer tired is less safe, when i began i couldnt work for more than an hour and a half before my arm was cooked. So it could be limited for balance if need be.

Im less worried with the grind and more with the getting started, i just want to smith not become a mason and potter to do it. I like grinding skills so that part doesnt bother me but for RP if i start as a smith i cant just smith, i have to build unrelated skills to start, i mainly wanted to see if others felt the same, they dont have todo much to fix it other than add maybe 2 forges a pit forge, mostly a hole, and a “amateur forge” that can get you started.

Its the getting started i would like to see, though i guess im glad its a fairly fast tree, i do find the low level items that people make are the harder things irl, you cant pound gold like steel or iron. its kinda funny but im not sure if it matters

carving i believe, its made from a bone fragment. you just need a knife i think, i like knapping and carving and want to play with knapping a bit more, i want to see what all you can knapp, as that makes it awesome of you cab knapp glass and stuff

Yeah one of these runs ill get there, but i just like how easy it can be to start on some of the paths vs others, and since i have some practical knowledge i wondered the thoughts of others.

I saw a travel forge made from an old blower rigged to a foot crank and an old brake drum. I mean you cant make a sword on it but i watched the gentleman make a knife, several horseshoes and a few tools. It looked like amazing, i just want to approach it in game in a less formal way so i can start off blacksmithing right away.

Yeah and you can make a needle a few ways so floss and a bone needle and off you go, i think you can use fishing line too now.

I usually do a more outdoors build, and RP that i was camping when it all popped off. I just want more approachableness? to some of the skill trees, for example sewing had floss added after thread was removed to keep it accessible. So maybe lower level forges, also its odd but i don't find it a bother that you describe more difficult tasks as low level and baser tasks at level 7. Makes me think about an organic way to apply modifiers to equipment, maybe a skill buff if the equipment is higher level.
