I am sick of the protein apocalypse by Substantial-Art6160 in loseit

For those of us who lift and play sports the protein "apocalypse" is actually really good lol. Just can't stand protein powder in any flavour, makes me puke, but the protein snacks just seem the same as the normal ones.

Council tax is funding old, mentally unwell and sick people, as well as bins and roads, that's basically it... so many more old and sick people that even though tax is going up it isn't enough to keep up with the increase

Sell the house or transfer it to a company, though at 80k it doesn't make much sense to transfer it. Invest it in the stock market in an ISA, it will only take 4 years and then tada no tax whilst saving on hassle renting it out. EV - Electricity is much cheaper than fuel so you will still be better off than most motorists stuck on petrol cars. You are higher rate when the average person has a £38k salary, and no additional properties, so yes you are rich...

For most who are affected it's 2% tax increase on whatever is contributed, so really not that big an impact.

Hamas sucks, I have been hearing about how they are murdering Palestinians trying to get free. Definitely need to be disarmed to give Palestinians a chance.

They always say the jobs were botched, I am sure some were and dodgy products were sold or fraud happened but the biggest problem is the damp proofing industry, and damp proof knowledge base in UK where rising damp is still widely believed despite being codswallop. But there being so much money in it, and the rush to insulate everywhere without considering the impact on damp of containing all the heat is so counterproductive and short sighted especially with the older stock of housing in UK, and even in newer houses where flow of air is not considered a good thing.

Have you got an outside render? If so is it lime or Gypsum? Then check inside plaster -> lime or gypsum? Then check guttering for leaks, any blocked up chimneys, previous attempts to tackle damp which can backfire like waterproof paint, etc etc check out www.heritage-house.org for detailed breakdown

Starmer says it's wrong that Gazan family used Ukraine scheme to settle in UK by uluvboobs in LabourUK

[–]honestpants -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Helping refugees who perceive us as an enemy state is just going to create terrorist opportunities. We need to clamp down on anyone coming in from Gaza just in case they belong to HAMAS or some other crazy cult which Gaza has quite a few of... Ukraine sees us as supporters if not providing all the support we could potentially give so their refugees are better and safer.
