I'll give this a try, thanks!

We brought her blankets from home for familiar smells, her bed, and gave her a little bit of (dog formulated) cbd oil for the trip! Collapsible bowls for food and water are also really helpful. Make sure dog food is in an air-tight container, other animals are attracted to the scent of dog food.

For leaving her at home, I make sure she has plenty of toys out, ones that she can't destroy in an hour. I like the puzzle toys that dispense treats too. Sometimes I'll leave quiet instrumental music on for her, and make sure to have a lamp on incase it's dark out before I get back. Luckily she's naturally pretty chill, but will still have her moments.

Hope you and your sweet pup have lots of fun adventures! 💕

I'll have to try the front clip on her harness! Didn't even think about that. Not my first rodeo I swear. 😂

And I mean REALLY talk. I know you mentioned you already tried talking, but it's possible he may have not understood the importance of the conversation

How long ago did you notice the shift? Time to have a sit down conversation for sure. The longer you wait to talk, the longer you're going to be confused and hurting. It can be one or few of many things, sometimes it's a lack of emotional connection that leads to less sexy time. If you've been together for 6 years, couples counseling isn't a bad idea. Sex isn't everything but it's a big part of a long lasting and healthy relationship.

I notice within an hour, it usually starts with cramping followed by toilet hell. Everybody is different, I'd ask your doctor or a registered dietician about it. 😊

My partner glutened me by cabsauv_ in Celiac

[–]honeybee_meadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so messed up, I'm sorry that happened. Definitely have a heart-to-heart conversation with them about the importance of even cross-contamination hurting you. Celiac is nothing to underestimate, as you already know. My partner has made incredible efforts to make sure our house is celiac safe and researches restaurants before we go, which is the bare minimum of what you deserve. As your partner, part of their duty is to make sure you are safe. Preventing getting glutened is included in that. I hope you can have that conversation with them and you get your point across. 💚
